MCP offers the broadest ball joint product line in the industry. Designs include North American standards, British standards, and European DIN standards.
|
|
Ball joints serve as linking and guiding elements for movable parts and create corner joints. These parts from component suppliers can significantly simplify mechanical construction, be used to transfer power in offset axles, transmit movement and are indispensable in all mechanical operations such as cushioning, drawing, tilting, levering, etc.
mbo Osswald always keeps a large number of ball joints out of his product palette of more than 12,000 parts in stock. In addition to the DIN 71802 ball joints which consist of DIN 71805 housings and DIN 71803 ball studs, every possible variation is ready to be called up by the customer. There is also a choice of surface protection such as, for example, blank, galvanised zinc, steel or stainless-steel versions.
For problematic environmental conditions (dust, lubricants) there are special ball joints with sealing caps available. The programme is extended with axial joints.
|
|
Application: Quick Disconnect Ball Joints are used in applications where the housing needs to be easily disconnected from the ball stud. This is accomplished by pulling back the spring-loaded outer housing.
Plating: parts are plated zinc with a yellow dichromate finish.
Specials: Special sizes and configurations are available in volume.

GMT ball joints are structural elements whose inner ball is firmly connected to the outer metal by means of a vulcanized elastomer layer. Such joints are designed for multi-directional torsional loads and thus, ideal as vibration-technological components for joints and connecting rods. One advantage is the fact that all movements can be achieved without any lubricants. GMT ball joints can be made up of an inner pin/ through hole as well as of an outer socket sonsisting of one or several segments.

The most economical linkage option. Avoid the loose fit of pinned connections with a ball joint linkage. Offered in a wide range of styles from the basic staked to a hardened housing and snap ring assembly for increased wear and strength. Quick disconnect versions as well as plastic ball joints are also available. Steel version are available with rubber dirt shields to offer added protection against the environment.

Mating pieces for clevises can be used as standard linking on the connecting rods of pneumatic cylinders or gas springs. In particular, the size of these items is so chosen, that a clevis in line with DIN 71752 is exactly right for use as a mating piece. In this way, a universally usable joint with terminating internal or external screw threads can be simply produced.
At the moment screw threads in the sizes of M 4 to M 20 with left or right hand fine or coarse threads can be supplied.
Considerable savings can be achieved with mating pieces. They can be e.g. easily combined with a clevis instead of a rod end if connections are required that compensate direction offsets in one direction. There are only few limitations compared to the rod end which is significantly more expensive.

SKF Bearing fitting tool kit TMFT 36T
TMFT 36, contains 36 impact rings, 3 impact sleeves and a dead-blow hammer packed in a carrying case.
The impact rings are made of high-impact modified polyamide.
The impact sleeves are made of glass fibre-reinforced, high-impact modified polyamide, which is super-tough, strong and lightweight.
The dead-blow hammer has nylon faces and is steel-shot loaded for maximum impact. The welded-on steel handle, with comfortable rubber-grip for good handling, absorbs shock and vibration.
In addition to mounting bearings, the TMFT 36 is also suitable for mounting other components such as bushings, seals and pulleys.

Fitting Tool FT 33
For careful mounting of roller bearings on shafts and cases. Universal use for bearings with a bore diameter from 10 to 50 mm. Easily carried in a handy case, including a recoil-free hammer.
3 Impact sleeves and 33 impact rings
No mechanical damage of the bearing
Also suitable for the mounting of sleeves, sealing rings, pulleys and so forth

FAG mounting tool sets allow cost-effective and safe mounting of rolling bearings with bore diameters of 10 to 50 mm or outside diameters of 16 to 110 mm. They can also be used to easily mount sleeves, intermediate rings, seals and similar parts. Tightly fitted inner rings can be driven onto the shaft or outer ring into the housing bore by hitting the mounting sleeve with the hammer. This prevents the mounting forces being transmitted through the rolling elements and raceways, which can lead to damage. The carefully matched FAG precision parts ensure that the forces are uniformly transmitted to the side faces of the bearing rings.
Great care is also required during dismounting. The extraction tool must always be applied to the ring to be removed. Mechanical FAG extractors can be used to dismount small rolling earings up to approx. 100 mm bore diameter that are located with a tight fit on a shaft or in a housing. The extraction force is normally applied by means of a threaded spindle. A hydraulic spindle facilitates work with hydraulic FAG extractors for larger rolling bearings. Extraction forces of up to 400 kN (40 tonnes) can be generated in this case.

Clinch studs are inserted through pre-pierced sheets into clinch dies. Initially the hole in the sheet is widened by the calibrating collar. After that, the clinch stud is precentred by means of the calibrating collar. Finally, the sheet material is forced into the annular groove and the Torx locking feature is pressed in. A very high loadcarrying capacity is achieved by means of the patented underhead geometry.
The reduction of production stages and of energy consumption results in considerable cost savings. An additional advantage is the possibility of processing several clinch studs in a single stage.
|
|
The tooling can be used with nearly all tool and press systems. Standardised components are used normally. This allows very rapid individual setting up of punch blocks and dies. The simple and intelligent construction guarantees reliable function of all system components. Due to the variable options of feeding techniques this system is suitable for small-batch and large-series facilities.
The versatility of applications, the profitableness, and the efficiency of the processing method, as well as the multitude of adcantages compared with traditional joining techniques make more and more users all over the world to rely on this unique system.

ISO-QF (Quick Flange) and LF (Large Flange) flanges are part of the same family of ISO standard elastomer sealed vacuum components designed for high vacuum service. A&N ISO flanges and fittings are manufactured in accordance with ISO (International Standard Organization) 2861 standards and tolerances. These flanges are an economical, convenient, and simplified means of constructing custom vacuum systems. ISO flanges, along with CF flanges, represent the most commonly used vacuum flange systems around the globe.
Standard QF flanges have bore (tube) sizes that range from 16mm to 50mm (QF16 to QF50). In addition, A&N offers a range of QF flanges from 63 to 200mm. QF flanges are fastened with quick style clamps and are sealed with an elastomeric o-ring. LF flanges have bore (tube) sizes that range from 63mm to 500mm (LF63 to LF500). LF style flanges are fastened with claw-style clamps or with bolts. Adaptive bolt rings are available that allow the conversion from claw-style flanges to bolt-style flanges. LF flanges are also sealed with an elastomeric o-ring.
