QuickStep is a new series of integrated step motors from JVL. They are available in a wide range, offering various functionality and combinations. The basic unit is a high-torque step motor with flange dimensions of 57x57 mm (NEMA23). The housing is constructed to provide IP55 or better protection. One or more PCBs and various connectors can be mounted in the housing to provide the various models. Among the many features can be mentioned:
•Pulse/direction driver.
•Serial RS485 position controller with graphical programming.
•Point-to-point or multiaxis operation up to 255 axes on the same RS485 bus.
•Canbus, CANopen 402 or Devicenet optional.
•Optional magnetic encoder.
•8 IO that can be configured as input, output or 10bit analog input
•Electronic gearing.
•High speed position capture.
•MAC motor protocol so that MAC motors and QuickStep motors can be connected to the same RS485 bus.
•Commands for simple PLC/PC set-up and communication.
•Power supply 12-48V DC delivering high torque at high speed.
•1.1Nm, 1.6 Nm, and 2.5 Nm versions.
•Fixed 1600 pulses/revolution for version with built-in position controller.
•200, 400, 800, 1000, or 1600 pulses/revolution for versions with pulse/direction inputs.

IclA IFS (with fieldbus interface) and IclA IDS (with pulse/direction interface) are fitted with three-phase stepper motors. These motors provide high torque at low speeds. This drive is highly suitable for speed drive applications requiring excellent constant velocity characteristics, but also for high-resolution positioning tasks. Commissioning of the stepper motor drive is easy because controller setting is not required.
Special features:
High continuous torque
Excellent constant velocity characteristics
High positioning resolution (0.018°)
Optionally with holding brake (IFS9x only)
Optionally with planetary gear

Ezi-STEP can detect the loss-of-synchronization of a stepping motor without the addition of an external sensor.
Saving installation space and ease of wiring by integrating drive circuits on the back side of a stepping motor.
Utilizing a software damping and filtering method, a high speed actuation is realized by the exciting angle control of a step-angle

PANdrive PD-013-42
Description
42mm stepper motor with integrated driver, low cost
The PD-013-42 is a full mechatronic solution including a 42mm flange motor (NEMA17). It joins a convenient controller electronic with a range of different motor torques. The PD-013-42 offers three motor torques options and can be controlled via an optical isolated Step/Direction interface. The power supply, interface and the multi purpose I/Os can be connected with small JST connectors. The firmware of the module can be updated via the serial interface. With the integrated StallGuard feature it is possible to detect overload and stall of the motor.
