Plastic Top Chain
Top plates and chain parts are made of engineering plastic and are connected using engineering plastic or stainless steel pins. Plastic top chains are used mainly in the food processing, beverage, dairy, and packaging industries.
RS Plastic Chain
The small pitch of RS plastic chain allows smaller diameter sprockets to be used, reducing the dead space between conveyors and ensuring smooth transfer of conveyed goods from one conveyor to another. The main markets for RS plastic chain come from the food processing, packaging, automobile, container, and pharmaceutical industries.
Beltop Chain
Beltop chain uses an alternating combination of interconnected modular engineering plastic links to transport goods in large quantities on wide, belt-shaped conveyors. Beltop chains are in demand in the corrugated cardboard, automobile, and food and beverage industries to replace conventional types in a variety of conveyor applications.
Also avaliable,
Stainless Steel Top Chain
Stainless steel top chain uses highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel for key components. Stainless steel top chain offers a higher maximum allowable load than standard plastic top chain and is especially suitable for transporting steel components or glass containers via direct mounting.

The Ryson proprietary chain slat arrangement becomes a versatile and flexible conveyor when used outside a spiral conveyor. Only one drive is required for each 250 feet of conveyor, which minimizes the number of transition points required. This also significantly reduces the cost of controls and system integration. The Ryson Chain Slat conveyors can also be configured as an oval shaped spiral, becoming a space efficient dynamic buffer storage device. More details on the Ryson Chain Slat arrangement are available under spiral conveyors.

Monorail system
The monorail system is a special designed conveyor. It is of the chain slat type, incorporating a proprietary low friction guide system. The monorail system is of a strong and modular design. Only one drive is required due to our proprietary low friction guide system. All conveyors are equipped with an automatic chain tensioning device and built-in overload components requiring minimal maintenance. The guide system includes precision low friction steel bearings and the chain is of heavy-duty chrome plated steel construction. The guide rails are made of polyurethane embedded in an extruded aluminium profile. The slats are of moulded reinforced polycarbonate. The slats are overlapping to accommodate small items. The conveyor can be delivered in steel, powder coated in every desired RAL-colour. Other possibilities are galvanized or stainless steel versions.
Features/advantages
Continuous transport
High throughput monorail system with speeds up to 60 m/min
Load capacity 50 kg/m
One electrical drive, giving savings on controls and system integration
Standard equipped with overload protection
Standard equipped with chain control
Overlapping slats
Easy to install
Low maintenance
Low noise level

"Slat conveyors employ one or more endless chains to which non-overlapping, non-interlocking spaced slats are attached." -CEMA
Continuous moving or indexing, flush with the floor or at working height, SSI Flat Top and Slat Conveyors are ideal for conveying and/or assembling large heavy products, such as automobiles, heavy trucks, earth moving equipment, steel coils and commercial air conditioners, snowmobiles, ATV's, motorcycles, or for the assembly of engines, brakes, axles, transmissions, compressors or other components.
SSI can provide Flat Top and Slat Conveyors from a few inches up to 16 feet wide, and with chain pitches from 2 inches up to 2 feet. A wide range of stationary or adjustable fixtures can be mounted to the slats to hold and locate the products

The hinged chain conveyors are designed for direct transport of workpieces with an even surface, that may touch during transport. For workpieces which are heavy or do not have an even surface, a multiple lane design is possible.
Through the connection of individual conveyor sections, the slat chain conveyors can be expanded as desired and are indexing independent because of their accumulating ability.
