Oil Tank
Sunfab offers its own range of hydraulic oil tanks ST 250 with a number of functional improvements necessary for high performance hydraulic systems.
Sunfab ST 250 radically reduces the air mixture in the hydraulic oil with an oil pipe around the return filter and a tried and tested baffle plate design. Air mixture is the main reason behind noise and cavitation of the pump.
Sunfab ST 250 features an external breathing filter, which is fitted in a protected position to reduce the risk of clogging. The filter is connected to the tank via a hose.
Sunfab ST 250 is supplied complete with correctly dimensioned connections, filter and brackets.
The oil tank is available in two different materials:
- ST 250 A in aluminium
- ST 250 S in stainless steel

In the oil reservoir all oil coming from oil separator is stored and cooled down. Any refrigerant trapped within the oil is boiled of.
The size of oil reservoirs required is determined by the number of compressors connected, compressor oil charge, system refrigeration charge and operating conditions. |

The DDS Bomb vessel is unique in that it is the first of its kind and displays the following features:
The vessel is smaller than conventional vessels, which results in a smaller heat capacity. Special attention has been given to a thermally balanced vessel design which has been achieved using computer aided design (CAD) and computer simulation of heat transfer characteristics.
The vessel has an oxygen volume of 0.22 litres (220ml), which allows for a 0,5gr coal sample at approximately 30MJ/Kg. The temperature sensors are located cylindrically within the vessel walls at eight places.
The approximate temperature rise of the vessel after burning of 0,5gr benzoic acid is 9 degrees C. Practical tests have shown that up to 0.8gr of benzoic acid can be burnt without affectin g the accuracy. Oxygen starvation affects the results with higher charges.
The vessel is "smart" with an microprocessor built into the base of the unit. All the information pertinent to a vessel is stored permanently inside the vessel i.e. vessel number, calibration, number of firings, date of last reconditioning etc.
The vessel PCB is only powered up when it is placed in the calorimeter. The consequences of the vessel memory is that any vessel can run in any ...follow link for more info

Storage devices serve a number of purposes on a refrigeration system. On the high side of a system, the receiver will hold additional system refrigerant charge. On the low side of the system, the accumulator will trap excess liquid, keeping it from getting to the compressor. The oil separator will remove oil from the discharge vapor and return it to the compressor.
The A-AS protects the compressor from liquid slugging and is used with CFC, HCFC, and HFC refrigerants. It is available for systems through 28 tons nominal capacity. |

THE MATERIAL
Butyl: The polymer butyl (IIR - isobutylene isoprene - rubber) is an elastomer with a small number of double bonds, produced through co-polymerisation of isobutylene and isoprene.
EPDM: The polymer EPDM, ethylene-propylene rubber, is produced through co-polymerisation of ethylene, propylene and diene monomer, producing a polymer made up of saturated linear macromolecules with a paraffinic structure.
In addition to the base polymer, both EPDM and Butyl contain reinforcing carbon black, fillers, process chemicals, antioxidants and vulcanising agents. After mixing the ingredients into a homogenous plastic compound, two layers of the rubber are rolled out in a calender to form a double sheet. Vulcanisation is then carried out. The long rubber molecules in the material are cross-linked through heat and pressure, creating an elastic membrane.
RESISTANT TO THE ENVIRONMENT
The vulcanisation process means that the material differs from all thermoplastic products, in that its properties are not affected by varying temperatures. The product is chemically stable and always returns to its original dimensions after stretching.
The cross-linked molecular structure gives EPDM and Butyl rubber their unique properties. Ageing or changes in characteristics are negligible despite decades of exposure to the atmosphere, sunlight, UV radiation, chemical fallout, water or major temperature fluctuations.

| Pressure tanks made of galvanised steel or stainless steel are available in many sizes (1 litre - 250 litres). Due to uniform, pulsation-free material transfer from tank to gun, a first class spray pattern and a high working speed is achieved. If necessary, pressure tanks can be fitted with air-powered or electric agitators in order to achieve high hue accuracy and a homogeneous surface finish. WALTHER PILOT offers complete systems for all requirements. WALTHER PILOT manufactures pressure tanks in accordance with strict requirements of pressure equipment Directive 97/23/EC. In accordance with Directive 94/9/EC (ATEX), WALTHER PILOT has the approval for manufacturing equipment for appropriate application in areas exposed to explosion threats. Furthermore, we are certified to manufacture and approve tanks in accordance with the US-American ASME-code as well as the Chinese Safety Quality License. 10 years of delivery guarantee for spare parts. |

| Parr offers non-stirred pressure vessels in convenient style, sizes and pressure ranges for many laboratory uses. Applications for these vessels extend to all types of laboratory work wherever a chemical reaction or physical test must be performed under pressure at elevated temperature. Sizes range from 21 ml to 5 gallons. |

A compensator tank is a mode dependent receiver that can be used in a heat pump system. As the heating mode does not require as much refrigerant as the cooling mode, the compensator tank stores the excess refrigerant.

The air receiver dimensioning is very important. It depends on the size of your compressed air pipework, on the variation in the air demand and on the capacity of your compressors. Worthington proposes a complete range :
Painted or galvanised air receivers
Horizontal or vertical air receivers
From 90 to 5000 litres
|
|
Airtanks from 20L up to 4000L.(larger models upon request) These tanks are available in horizontal and vertical execution. The working pressure is 11 bar or 16 bar. Airtanks up to 900L. are in accordance with the CE-normalisation. The airtanks from 1000L. volume up are manufactured under the TÜV Baumuster registration.
The most advanced manufacturing and welding procedures are being used.
These tanks are being delivered complete with:
Hammertone coating.
Pressure gauge
Safety release valve
Condensate drain
Air stop ball-valve
These tanks are also available without these features. Airtanks manufactured under other certification are also available upon request, such as Loyd’s certification. The airtanks are also available in galvanised finish.

Clean, dry, quality compressed air is essential to ensure trouble free operation of a compressed air system and air operated equipment. HPC SECOTEC refrigerant dryers cool compressed air to a pressure dew point of +3oC, which is lower than anywhere else in the system and results in condensation taking place only in the dryer. In contrast to most refrigerant drying systems, the HPC SECOTEC concept uses an extremely efficient cycling system and temperature controlled thermal mass cold storage compartment which, unlike traditional dryers that operate continuously, allow the unit to shut down during low demand periods.
Clean compressed air reduces downtime of machines and controllers to an absolute minimum, greatly extends the service life of tools and keeps pipes and valves free of contaminants. Clean air can reduce servicing, maintenance and repair costs. |
