Small bearing (MBS) Sensor
A critical indication of the status of bearings suppliers on large rotating plant is provided by their running temperature.
Due to its small physical size the miniature bearing sensor can be positioned close to the bearing surface allowing it to sense any early change in temperature.
These devices are available in both thermocouple and PT100 resistance industrial thermometer format and can be supplied as either single or duplex sensors. The sensor lead wire insulation is in PTFE and if necessary lead wire jackets can be protected with stainless steel outer braid.
BSWS Bearing sensor wire industrial seal assemblies are low temperature/low pressure glands for embedded sensors to prevent oil wicking along the sensor leads. They seal on the individual insulated leads exiting an oil-filled bearing housing.
Typical aplications are motors, turbines, pumps & journal bearing pedestals. |

Freeze dryer (FD100) Sensor :
The FD100 freeze professional dryer sensor was designed to measure very small volumes of liquid product, typically like those found in lyophilizers.
When attempting to accurately measure the temperature of small volumes of product such as that contained in a pharmaceutical vial, temperature conductance can affect the result. This is due to the relatively large mass of the sensor sheath compared to the volume of product being measured.
The FD100 sensor was designed to reduce this effect and is achieved by building a thermal break between the sensing tip and the main probe stem. Temperature conductance is kept to a minimum and the positioning of the face of the miniature detector ensures an optimum time response. |

Description:
As a precision CMOS temperature sensor supplier, the FM20 is cost-effective for accurate low-power temperature monitoring applications. Output voltage versus temperature is extremely linear. With no load, the supply current is
typically 1µA. For normal operation, the load on V OUT should be 5MOhm
or less.
In a typical application, a remotely mounted FM20 is monitored by a microcontroller with an analog A/D professional converter input. Alternatively, the FM20 can drive a comparator with a high impedance input. |

The XC31B series are ultra small CMOS temperature sensor ICs. As a bandgap type temperature sensor is built-into the
XC31B, linearity, in comparison to thermistor type temperature sensors suppliers, is much better.
The operating temperature range of the series is from -30°c to +80°c.
The XC31B comes in a mini molded SOT-25 and
USP-6B packages with a supply current of only 7µA
(@VOUT=2.0V) and as such, is suitable for use with various portable devices. Output voltage is selectable in 100mV
increments within a range of 2.0V to 6.0V (at 25°c). |

The SL100 Steriprobe® (Sterimaster® in the USA), load/chamber probe was developed specifically to meet the demanding conditions presented by the chamber environment found in modern manufacturers of autoclaves. The sensitivity and accuracy of the sensor meets the requirements of current European and USA legislation whilst being of robust mechanical design.
The ‘Steriprobe’ has been designed to withstand these conditions and offers a reliability factor surpassing that previously obtainable. During manufacture every weld undergoes NDT examination and each completed assembly is 100% tested.
These units are available as PT100 resistance industrial thermometers to all tolerance classes and with 3 or 4 wire connection also as type 'T' thermocouples in Class 1 material. They can be supplied in single, duplex or triplex detector format with probe lengths to requirements.
The assembly materials of construction are 316L stainless steel, PTFE and silicone and all components have full traceability.

Autoclave Drain/Air Professional filter (SD050) or Freezer (SD051) Sensor :
The SD050 series drain/air detector and freezer sensor is not presented with the same demanding conditions that are experienced by the chamber/load probe.
However the critical measurement that they transmit to the control system requires no less an integrity than that for the chamber or load probe. To maintain this integrity the same manufacturing programme as that used for the chamber and load probes is performed.
The SD050 detection are used extensively in suppliers of autoclaves manufactured by most of the major manufacturers either as original equipment or as replacement parts.
At the other end of the temperature spectrum the SD051 is designed for use in pharmaceutical professional freezers, professional refrigerators and industrial incubators. |

Series SL150 (Sterisensor® in the USA) autoclave chamber/load probe
The series SL150 offers increased flexibility with a tough, thick walled silicone rubber protected lead wire FDA listed (21CFR 177 2600). These units were designed for use in both steam and water cycle autoclaves and are used extensively in autoclaves manufactured by most of the major manufacturers, either as original equipment or as replacement parts.

VITO temperature measurement systems for gauging temperature and volume
Anybody that wishes to determine the quantity of product present in bulk storage tanks manufacturers has to take the product temperature into account. After all, temperature is a determining factor for the volume and hence the density of a product. ENRAF offers a comprehensive line of products for accurate temperature measurement. That line ranges from single spot industrial temperature probes to the advanced VITO 16 element multiple thermosensor professional thermometer (MTT) for temperature and volume measurement.
Virtually the entire range is equipped with ENRAF’s well-known VITO interface, which guarantees faultless communication with level gauging systems based on radar or servo technology. The gauging systems can easily be provided with an additional functionality for water bottom measurement. In that way the number of instruments and components in and on the professional tank is kept to a minimum.
Temperature gauging systems by ENRAF stand out by their reliability and robust design. That assures you not only of high measurement accuracy but also of minimal maintenance cost. Add to that their flexibility and simplicity of installation and you will understand just why so many companies benefit from ENRAF temperature gauges. |

In addition to long-term stability, interchangeability and accuracy, elementary sensors are additionally characterized by small size footprints of only a few square millimeters. The temperature application range, however, is extremely high: from -196° Celsius to +1000° Celsius!
To increase the ease of use in mass production applications, Heraeus Sensor Technology has enhanced the capabilities of elementary sensors. DBS sensors, for example, are equipped with rectangular connecting wires that offer superior directional stability when compared to round wires. The DBS sensors, which are available in several different standard wire lengths, can eliminate the need for expensive extension leads.
Ideas developed by Heraeus Sensor Technology have simplified the need for further processing of SMD sensors. The FC-type SMD sensor, for example, which have no edge-metallization, can be die-bonded on PCBs instead of soldered, saving time and costs for automated manufacturing processes.

Heraeus Sensor Technology develops, manufactures and markets products whose function is based on structured thin professional films of platinum (Pt). With such an orientation the company is intentionally positioning itself at the start of the added value chain, i.e. the manufacture of components.
The customers of Heraeus Sensor Technology are generally manufacturers of equipment for process measurement technology, the life science sector, the complete bandwidth of heating, ventilation and air conditioning, or subcontractors for mass markets such as household appliances and motor vehicles, just to name a few as examples. |
