| DIAS Infrared GmbH is well known as a manufacturer of high-quality pyroelectric detectors for temperature measurement, gas analysis and spectrometry. The detectors stand out due to extremely high detectivity as well as low microphonic effect. We provide a product range from single element detectors over multi channel detectors up to linear arrays with 128 or 256 pixels. All the detectors can be equipped with nearly any optical filter as well as with IR fibers. |
|
InfraTec is very flexible in the position of the used filters:
- InfraTec can deliver standard detectors with standard optical filters.
- If you need special filters either you may supply the filters or InfraTec may purchase the filters from our suppliers and will offer you a special detector with filters which meet your specifications.
- If you not know which detector/ filter meet your requirements please contact your local InfraTec representative. Together with the InfraTec R&D department they will be glad to present you a solution for your measurement problem. |

NDIR Carbon Dioxide - Infared Sensors
Alphasense contemporary designed miniature CO2 infra-red sensors are self-contained, plug in sensors with integrated optics contained within standard sized miniature (20.0 mm) gas sensor housings. There are no moving parts within the sensors. An internal temperature sensor is included to enable the temperature to be monitored at the detectors, thereby providing the best means of compensating for temperature effects, including ideal gas law corrections.
CO2 Gas Ranges
IR-CO2-A1 Carbon Dioxide 0 to 5,000-ppm
IR-CO2-A1 Carbon Dioxide 0 to 5% Volume
IR-CO2-A1 Carbon Dioxide 0 to 20% Volume
IR-CO2-A1 Carbon Dioxide 0 to 100% Volume |
|
The Alphasense patented carbon dioxide sensor is a world first in CO2 monitoring:
Requires no power
Operates at room temperature
One sensor measures from 500ppm to 95% CO2
Small size
Low cost
Simple interfacing
Using the potentiometric measuring principle with our patented silver halide solid state electrolyte, this sensor does not have the high power requirement or high price tag of NDIR technology. This sensor is ideal where low cost and low power are critical for CO2 measurement.
This sensor is the result of seven years of research and development, and this work continues. While not as accurate as NDIR, and not suitable for IAQ measurements, this sensor is ideal for safety alarms, combustion gas monitoring and high CO2 process monitoring.

Sensor Interface
In order to derive a signal from the Alphasense infa-red sensors, the lamp should be pulsed at a constant frequency and duty cycle and power should be applied to the on-chip FET transistors. The signal can then be extracted from the on-chip FET transistor sources and the internal sensor temperature can also be monitored continuously. |

General description
di-soric infrared distance sensors OAA... are characterised by a large operating distance, while having a very good colour independence. Thanks to the large diameter of light spot uneven surfaces of stones, sintered material or rough boards will be safely detected. Due to that di-soric infrared distance sensors OAA... are especially suitable for height control in concrete and gravel works, brickyards as well as saw mills. Two independently from each other adjustable thresholds enable diverse operation possibilities.

Teledyne Imaging Sensors is a world leader in the design and production of large format IR sensors. We produce the largest IR detectors in the world: 2048x2048 format, 18µm pixel pitch arrays based on our proven HAWAII-2RG readout integrated circuit (ROIC). We are supplying NASA's James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) with 4096x4096 mosaic FPAs. JWST will replace NASA's Hubble Space Telescope in the year 2011.
Teledyne Imaging Sensors infrared and visible FPA imager products provide "machine vision," serving the same function as the human retina of the eye - receiving optical images and converting them into electronic signals. Teledyne Imaging Sensors imaging sensor capability far exceeds that of the human eye; imagers are built to see in low light and infrared. Imagers can also be built to detect and determine an objects temperature and chemical composition.
Standard FPA products
Semi-custom products - mating standard readout integrated circuit (ROIC) electronics with custom detectors
Full custom services, optimized to customer requirements
FPAs for a wide range of requirements: large format, high-speed, very-low noise, high-dynamic range, background subtraction, special windowing, and on-FPA signal processing
Robust design for harsh environmental conditions including temperature extremes and radiation exposure |

X-Ray Fluorescence Gauges are used to measure coatings containing quantities of metal or heavy elements, on plastic or paper substrates. The sensor energy level is selected for the application, such that the photons striking the material cause it to fluoresce. The returned fluorescence energy provides the information necessary to precisely calculate the coatweight. This selective technique has significant advantages in simplicity of operation, accuracy, and reduced equipment costs.

|
X-Ray Sensors offer a number of advantages over beta and gamma sensors, including greater precision, better streak detection, long-term stability and non-nuclear technology.
Since the X-ray sensor's energy output can be changed via digital power regulation, it can be optimized to run very efficiently over a wide range of product weights and thicknesses. |
