Three product series, three connection technologies! Our DIN rail terminal block range is the right choice for any installation task, whether in control cabinets, in systems or in building installation, whether with screw, spring clamp or IDC technology.
selos - screw technology
The DIN rail terminal block with the classic screw connection: selos is solid and functional, known worldwide and in use millions of times. The variety of different products provides solutions for applications of all kinds. Screw technology guarantees highest contact forces with low contact resistance.
fasis - spring clamp technology
The DIN rail terminal blocks in spring clamp technology: fasis is easy to handle, saves time and reduces costs for wiring and warehousing, and it guarantees vibration-proof and maintenance-free clamp connections with specified contact forces. A real alternative to the screw.
taris® - IDC technology
taris® is the DIN rail terminal block for easy, quick and user-friendly wiring with insulation-piercing contacting (insulation displacing contacting, IDC technology). It is easy to handle, can be wired quickly and used safely. The wire is simply cut to length, inserted and the termination point is closed using a screwdriver. You need not strip the insulation or attach ferrules. taris® reduces the wiring time by up to 60 %.

SPRING TYPE TERMINAL BLOCK
Spring clamp terminals provide a realistic alternative to terminal blocks with screw clamp connection in many fields of application. The spring clamp is operated by using a screw driver to provide an access to wire through the opening in the spring clamp. The wire end gets clamped on to the current bar on removal of screw driver.
YBK type spring clamp terminals decrease the mounting and revision costs relative to screw type terminals.
Interlocking mechanism on the plastic housing prevents terminal blocks to be separated from each other when the cables are connected.
TYPES OF DIFFERENT SPRING TERMINAL BLOCKS AVAILABLE ARE AS BELOW:
Standard feed-through terminals
Multi-Layer Terminals
Fuse terminals
Mini terminals
Terminals for sensors
Terminals for PCB Connection
One-in-Two-out
Two-in-two-out

RIA CONNECT’s RIACON product series consists of pluggable and solderable screw type terminal blocks. The terminal bodies are made of copper alloy - RIA does not use wrapped terminal bodies. The surface is electro-nickel plated. Versions with soldering pins are initially electro-nickel-plated, and then hot-dip galvanized to achieve high resistance to corrosion and outstanding soldering properties.
All terminal bodies are captive in their moldings.
Terminal screws sizes M2, M3 and M3.5 are made of different materials, varied upon needs. The bottom surfaces are rounded off, permitting leads to be connected without wire protectors.
All screws are hot-dip galvanized, 4 µm nickel plating over 8 µm copper to provide a better protection against corrosion. The screws are usually secured in a fashion as to prevent them from working loose during shipment.

RIA CONNECT’s SPRINGCON product series consists of terminal blocks using spring clamp technology.
Spring clamp technology is defined as an electrical connection produced by terminating an individual, stripped conductor with a spring.
It is valid for solid, stranded and fine stranded copper conductors having a nominal cross section from
0.08 - 2.5 mm² .
SPRINGCON terminal block features:
Tool-less operation - Insert conductor and snap the lever down to connect
Ship wire ready for your application
Tool-less operation - Insert conductor and snap the lever down to connect
Gas tight connection - A correct contact force ensures a gastight connection
Broad range of centerlines in one piece & pluggable versions - 3.5mm, 3.81mm, 5.0mm, 5.08mm, 7.62mm & 10.0mm centerlines
Fast field terminations - Cut installation time in half using SPRINGCON
Mates with industry standard PC headers already in your application

Heyco® Standard Appliance
Terminal Blocks
Screw to Screw
Features
Allows standardization of the SOLID WIRE Cordset. Input and output wires are always secured with a screw.
Modern low profile design occupies less "real estate" inside the appliance.
No exposed metal parts. "Dead front" designed safety.
Pressure clamp connectors are supplied in the open position, ready to accept single or multiple solid conductors.
To meet European requirements, your application may need a terminal block between the power supply cord and internal electricals.
All sizes are rated at 300 volts (450 volts in Europe).
Metal parts feature galvanized steel screws and Ni or tin plated brass inserts.
Available in 94V-0 flame retardant (FR), glass-filled 6/6 Nylon material.
Material Temperature Index: 284°F (140°C), except TB 3B- 338°F (170°C).
Consult Heyco for other pole configurations.

Optimum contact ensured through the patented and renowned clamping yoke system which is based on the classical increase of force of the screw. Requring only small effort, the screw thread produces high contact power.
A high contact force is only effective when continuously excerted on the conductor. The Weidmüller clamping yoke system works as follows: When the clamping screw is tightened, the resultant force causes the upper thread overlap to spring open, thus causing a locking action to be exerted on the screw. Movement of the connected conductor is compensated by the elastic behaviour of the clamping yoke.
Result:
The connection is vibration-resistant and makes retightening of the clamping screw unnecessary.

Z-series tension clamp terminal blocks with a cross-section between 0.13 and 35 mm2 enable optimized and application proof solutions.
Terminals with tension clamp technology, the Z sereis, are made to suit a wide range of customer applications. They are:
small structural dimensions
large marking surface
integrated test point
cross-connestion ability within the Z series and to other Weidmüller families
The terminals in the Z series have a wide clamping range and up to two cross-connection channels.
The potential can be distributed across any number of channels using the pluggable cross-connections system.
