CELLROLL and CELLSPIN ¨C The cell cultivation system that grows with your needs
CELLROLL is a modular instrument for cell cultivation in roller bottles allowing fine tuning of rotation speed. The modular design makes a flexible production scale-up possible: depending on the needs, one motor unit can control up to eight bottle racks, each rack accommodating two standard roller bottles.
CELLSPIN is a moisture-resistant stirrer for cell cultivation in spinner bottles with volumes from 100 to 1000 ml. It offers a wide range of stirring options that can be individually programmed at any time for accurate optimisation and control of culture conditions. The spinner flasks - available in the four sizes 100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml and 1000 ml - improve the performance of your cells thanks to their "cell-friendly" design.
The CELLROLL and CELLSPIN systems are based on a modular assembly concept that allows configuring and combining the two instruments. One control unit operates two CELLROLL drive units or two CELLSPIN stirring platforms or a combination of one instrument each. The programmable control unit is located outside of the incubator. In case of power failure or accidental disconnection of control and motor unit an alarm system is activated.

Tech-Etch can photoetch flow field bi-polar plates used in PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) Fuel Cells. Bi-polar plates, or separator plates, are conductive plates in a fuel cell stack that act as an anode for one cell and a cathode for adjacent cells. The plates contain flow channels for the fluid feeds and may contain conduits for heat transfer.
Tech-Etch can produce plates with interlacing front and back side channels to produce a corrugated effect for cooling purposes.
In addition, photoetching can be combined with machining to produce cross-over channels. Tolerances up to .0005 inches can be achieved in typical materials such as Titanium and Stainless Steel for these anode and cathode plates. These production processes are extremely desirable in the design and prototype stage of fuel cell development. Tech-Etch manufactures their fuel cell plates to customer specifications. |

Assembly in dihedron:
In the case of important flows, the cells type 16 and KNOWN thickness 38 and 50 mm can be gone up in dihedrons. Frontal surfaces are then reduced in a ratio from 3 to 1. The cells type 16 equipping the dihedrons are provided with handles (contrary to the cells KNOWN cut-rate version).
Dihedrons MIOFILTRE are superimposed easily to constitute "plates support" or "boxes". |
