Online safety valve test system, PreVenTest
Pressure safety valves are installed on process equipment to release excess pressure due to upset process operations, external fires and other hazards. Or simply said; the safety valve serves to protect life and property. Failure of pressure safety valves to function properly when needed could result in the over pressure of vessels, exchangers, boilers, or other equipment they where installed to protect. It is essential to maintain your pressure safety valves and relief valves in good condition.
Periodically testing is one of the most important elements to proof that the safety valves will provide the so important protection. Obviously, the most desirable type of test is one that subjects the pressure relief valve to the full operating conditions that it is to endure in practice.
The Ventil PreVenTest system is a robust, but ingenious build system for testing all types and sizes of spring operated safety valves on-line, in process and under the normal operating conditions. The portable system enables you to proof the correct working and performance or identify safety valves in need of repair without plant shut-down.

Flo-tech portable testers are the leaders in state-of the-art hydraulic testing equipment. Offered in three models in a variety of sizes, the compact testers are designed for fast, diagnostic troubleshooting of both mobile and stationary hydraulic systems and components. The PFM6 measures flow, pressure, and temperature simultaneously from one point, while the PFM8 series provides an additional dynamometer for power calculation (HP and kW). In addition to portable testers, Flo-tech manufactures a wide variety of in-line turbine flow meters for hydraulic fluids.

The Flo-Check USB represents the next generation of hydraulic test equipment. The device simultaneously measures flow, pressure, temperature and power within a hydraulic system. This data is displayed and logged through a custom Windows-based software application; data is received from the Analyzer through a standard USB cable (both software and cable are included with the unit). The Flo-Check USB is ideal for testing, troubleshooting and diagnosis in mobile and industrial hydraulic applications, and for setting hydraulic components such as pumps, valves and motors. The unit is bi-directional and includes a low-resistance load valve and internal pressure relief discs.

Surge Protection Devices (SPD) are also known as Transient Voltage Surge Suppressors (TVSS). These devices can comprise a complex arrangement of varistors, transorb diodes and gas arresters. The function is to divert lightning surge energy away from electrical or electronic equipment. They are activated by the steep voltage impulse generated by a lightning strike and are designed to conduct tens of thousands of Amps in impulse energy. Typical impulse tests for SPD devices include energy absortion (8/20us or 10/350us), duty cycle (8/20us), Clamping voltage (8/20us) and Combination Wave Tests for devices connected in the AC power main.
EMC PARTNER offer a range of instruments from a few Amps up to 100,000 Amps.
All units offer a combination of impulses specific for particular devices whether they are disc varistors, SMD varistors, Gas Arresters or combinations of all.
