It is a universal testing machine capable of carrying out tensile, compression, bending, and shearing fesfs. Operation is manual, semiautomatic, and automatic. The test instrument can be modularised taking into account that the structure can house 3 permanently installed load cells for compression tests, and 3 sets of tensile grips for tests, including at break. Our system uses several cards (for axis and cell reader control) that are connected via CanBus to enable displacements to position or force at a feedback speed of 1000 Hz. Load cell reads are effected ì,000 times per second. Minimum indexing is 1/32,700 (this can be increased by slowing down load cell reading).

About the SF1490 Series Spring Testers:
The SF1491 EMSY Spring Tester is a floor standing electro-mechanical testing machine equipped with Instron's EMSY load cell system that determines the true response vector of a coil compression spring under load. This information is used by spring manufacturers and suspension design engineers to develop suspensions for automobiles and light trucks with better and safer ride characteristics.
The system uses nine load cells to accurately determine the center of load position on the upper and lower spring bearing surfaces as well as all axial and lateral loads and moments generated by the spring.

Recent sales of Zwick’s electro-mechanical testing actuator have provided unique solutions for customers carrying out diverse mechanical testing. The electro-mechanical testing actuator is quite unique as it can be directly assembled, at any angle, into a production line and controlled via dedicated I/O control systems, or it can be used in stand-alone mode with a dedicated test stand. K93400 Friction Tester
Evaluates the dynamic friction at reciprocatory contacts of dry or lubricated materials as the function of normal load, velocity, frequency, temperature, and time. A wide variety of materials including fluid lubricants, greases, cutting fluids, metals, composites, ceramics, polymers, and coatings can be tested. The test is conducted by pressing the test specimen against a ball, pin, or cylinder undergoing reciprocating linear motion, producing a sinusoidal velocity profile which allows for the monitoring of static and dynamic friction force over a wide range of linear sliding speeds. The test load, stroke, frequency, and temperature can be adjusted to simulate different conditions. The frictional force developed at the contact interface is measured by a piezoelectric force transducer equipped with a charge amplifier. The test results can be displayed and recorded on a storage oscilloscope or acquired on a PC with the TriboDATA acquisition software for evaluation. Wear analysis of the sample can also be evaluated with a profilometer.

TesT 205 screw testing machines were newly developed based on the
experience of many years and essentially consist out of 4 components:
- 1 force/torque transducer
- 1 machine frame with regulated drive, angle measurement and table
- 1 PC with integrated data acquisition board and motor control
- 1 Software package
The evaluation takes place in real time processing and online during
the test sequences. The force/torque transducer is patented. Its shaping permits the measurement of the 3 quantities: total torque, head friction torque and clamping force without influence of one quantity by one of the others.
Sequences can be programmed by yourselves using the general instructions existing in the software. The available finished software packages according to international standards or standards of the car manufacturers can be adapted to the individual desires of the user at any time.

The Model 2909 Clutch Durability Test Machine is used to measure clutch wear over extended operating conditions. The purpose of THP1 device is identical to that of the TB1 unit, that is to say testing pieces in a low or medium production with the only difference that this device is indicated for testing pieces under high pressure conditions. To this purpose it features a shielded screen which shuts itself automatically before starting the test. When the piece being tested is under high pressure it is not possible to open the screen until the safety conditions have been totally restored.
