Builder Product Series
The era of purely mechanical or optical instruments is over. This is the digital era where digital instru-ments are needed to remain competitive. The digital Builder leads the way in this new era.
Leica Builder T
Set angles
V display in degrees or as percentage of inclination
Sector “Beep” signals right angles
Hz display clockwise or counter clockwise
Checks level positioning with the graphic levelling aid
Leica Builder R
Even an inexperienced operator can implement a construction plan or perform a control measurement
Electronic distance measurement up to 250m with a visible, red laser
The clearly arranged built-in functions "Layout", "As-Built", "Tie Distance" and "Area" reduce work to a minimum.
Leica Builder RM
Receiving and transmitting measured or layout data via digital files increases processing efficiency
Read and write errors are eliminated
Data is saved and managed on a PC
Designs can be implemented directly from the planning stage
optionally, 3rd party software can operate Builder RM remotely using the interface
Leica Builder RM power
The design priority of an easy-to-use control concept gives the Leica Builder RM power unrivaled op-erational simplicity. When coupled with outstanding performance and accuracy, the unique Leica PowerSite software accelerates any construction site tasks. The state-of-the-art Electronic Distance Measurement (EDM) provides you the highest degree of measurement accuracy, quality and reliabil-ity. Simply aim and shoot.

ETH-302 / ETH-305 / ETH-310 / ETH-320
The ETH-300 Series features model numbers that reflect angle accuracy and have common features. All models have dual displays, and a detachable tribrach.
The ETH-302 has 2" accuracy, ETH-305 has 5", the ETH-310 has 10", and the ETH-320 has 20" angle accuracy. The ETH-302 and ETH-305 are equipped with compensator.
Horizontal and vertical angles can be observed simultaneously on the large 2 line, back-lit LCD displays, and vertical angles can be easily converted to percent slope with one key stroke. Other standard features include a horizontal angle zero set, automatic power off to conserve batteries, and a battery life indicator on the LCD display. Four AA alkaline batteries provide 25 - 28 hours of continuous operation.

The DT500 and DT500A are the most versatile entry-level instruments you can buy. With an IP66 waterproof rating the DT500 and DT500A operate dependably even where conventional theodolites do not, such as sudden showers, continuous drizzling rain or the high humidity of underground construction sites.
The vertical and horizontal angles are electronically read and displayed on a large, easy to read, two-line LCD display. The automatic vertical circle indexing means you can achieve a level of accuracy not possible with other instruments in this price range.
Additional features:
Optical plummet which eliminates the need for a plumb bob.
Percentage of slope or vertical angle display with the touch of a button.
Angle readings are monitored by a self-checking microprocessor and displayed in less than .5 second.
Read horizontal angles clockwise or counterclockwise: then lock with the hold/release key to hold angles.

DT210/510/510A Digital Theodolites
Sokkia's Digital Theodolites allow you to survey with ease using the absolute encoder’s new algorithm that operates with remarkably reduced power consumption. When the instrument is restarted, the azimuth is automatically restored to save time on the job site. A large LCD screen provides clear angle reading under all conditions, and thanks to simple 4-key operation, no training is required.

Longer battery powering duration
Longer battery powering durations using alkaline batteries. Continuous angle measurement for 150 hours (DT-213). Laser continuous angle measurement for 45 hours.
Absolute encoder is used
Detection of 0° position is no longer needed. Stable, high-accuracy measurement.
Laser pointer
The laser pointer is injected in collimation direction by simply operating one switch. Workers can perform work without guidance by observation personnel.
Excellent waterproof structure
The theodolite body is guarded against a sudden torrential rain and dirt. The theodolite can be used reliably at work sites under severe conditions.
JIS C 0920 protection class IP66 (Dustproof and waterproof types)
