The COULOSCOPE CMS (Coulometric Measuring System) uses the coulometric method for measuring coating thickness. New design features include a large, easy to read LCD display, an intuitive menu-driven operator system, the new V18 measuring stand that allows automatic filling and emptying of the cell by pump control as well as additional SPC capabilities.
The instrument is ideal for measuring the thickness of virtually any metallic coating on a metallic or non-metallic substrate, including multiple coatings. It is used in applications where non-destructive methods cannot or need not be used.
The COULOSCOPE CMS, accurately measures metallic coatings in the range of 0.05 - 40 µm. The unit is capable of storing hundreds of predefined coating/substrate applications from single coatings such as zinc on steel up to triple coatings like chromium on nickel on copper on plastic. Multiple storage memories allow thousands of measurement values to be recorded and saved.
An RS232 interface allows the stored data to be printed or downloaded to a PC.

Features
• Pressure tested to 500 m depth
• Optional dedicated probe holder to allow measurements on
• curved or flat surfaces
• Small, lightweight and easy to install
• Only one twisted pair is required to transfer the data to the surface
• Power supply taken locally from the ROV
• The probe does not need to touch the surface under test, as measurements can be taken through 5 mm of water
• Readings are not influenced by the probe orientation
• Dedicated software for displaying the measured results, storing the measurements and setting the calibration of the gauge
Applications
• Designed specifically to mount onto small inspection ROVs
• Metal thickness and corrosion checks on offshore structures, ships and wrecks
• Safety corrosion monitoring of pipelines and storage vessels

Thickness is an important process parameter for the prevention of tool or machine damage or to monitor product quality according to ISO 9000 in blanking presses, slitting lines, cut-to-length lines, scroll shears and other coil processing machinery. Continuous thickness measurement makes the monitoring of the cost of purchased material possible. ROLAND has single sensor measurement systems as well as non-contact dual probe systems available. The systems function according to the magnetic, inductive, or capacitance principles. Detailed measurement protocols according to SPC criteria provide objective information for negotiating with coil suppliers.

OTS 50 the industrial thickness meter for sheet glass and acrylic panes.
The OTS 50 is a sensor especially developed for measuring on transparent, parallel and highly reflective surfaces. Directly aimed at the glass industry for on-line control of the production of double glass units, DGU’s, also known as thermo windows.
The sensor is controlling thickness of the window units providing precision measurement of the thickness of one or more glass/acrylic panes. The measuring principle is based on total/direct reflection from one side of the object/window. The OTS 50 sensor is a very rugged and compact unit. All optical and electronic elements are contained in the sensor unit, this is a valuable quality for many industrial applications.
In addition to the competitive palette of ODS standard sensors and O2DS scanners, DSE design and customize special sensors to our customers needs. The OTS 50 is a good example of this appreciated DSE activity.

SONOTEC offers a wide range of wall thickness gauges which suit various industrial applications for non-destructive material testing. The robust watertight devices with integrated data logger and USB-interface are precise and reliable. Their ergonomic shape allows a comfortable and handy usage.
The new ultrasonic wall thickness gauge SONOWALL 50 was developed for the precise measurement of the wall thickness of materials such as glass, metal, ceramics and plastics. The small and light thickness gauge is characterized by its diverse fields of application and a stable data readout. Due to the wide measuring range an enormous variety of applications can be satisfied with only one single probe. The device tests pipes, tanks, pressurized containers, machines and steel parts reliably. It is easy to use and serves for a quick detection of corrosion. Despite the numerous features and the exquisite design the SONOWALL 50 is a cost- effective ultrasonic measuring gauge.
Another device alternative is the SONOWALL60 which is operating according to the multiple-echo-technology. The high quality wall thickness instrument measures even through coatings. Hence, paint layers and protective coatings do not have to be removed. SONOWALL 60 is easy to use. A zero point adjustment is not necessary.
Furthermore, there exists an intrinsically safe device variant for hazardous areas. This wall thickness gauge uses the multiple-echo-technology. Due to its significant design it is especially designed for robust operating conditions.
