All models of Comac double pinch style profile bending machine can be equipped with electronic automatic control systems to improve accuracy and consistency of jobs and enhance the rate of automation.
These controls are simple 2-axis programmable positioning devices, or CNC controls.
Programmable positioning devices are useful to join straight parts to bent parts and to perform multiple-passes jobs in a more consistent sequence of operations.
CNC controls are required to accomplish multi-radius curves to be produced in medium-large batches with high consistency and excellent quality of transitions between the different radii, even with difficult materials such as thin-wall tubes.
This can be achieved by controlling simultaneously three axes, i.e. the profile feeding and the positions of the bending rolls.
Among the hundreds of parts produced with CNC-controlled rolls, some samples are: greenhouses, handrails of cruise boats, conveyor rails, variable-pitch pipe coils for boilers, pancake coils, commercial signs, etc.

In essence, the FM 70 RE extrudes or pushes a near-net tube through a contoured set of dies or clamps, generating one or two shallow bends - typically with a maximum degree of bend of approximately 40 to 45 degrees.
The FM 70 RE machine is perhaps best known for its ability to minimize tube scrap. Mass flow techniques provide more RELIABLE, REPEATABLE AND ACCURATE gas flow rate measurements compared to volumetric methods such as rotometers and turbine meters. Mass flow measurements use the density of the gas to translate mass flow units (kg or lbs) to units of familiar volumetric terms (liters/min). However the measurements are still mass units (we call those units STANDARD liter/min (slm)) and they do not change with temperature and pressure changes. We do this by referencing just one, specific temperature and one specific pressure (STP).
300 Series mass flow instruments have flow ranges from 0-5 sccm to 0-3,000 slm; use all metal seals, provide analog outputs, and are constructed of stainless steel. The mass flow controllers have normally closed valves. Corrosive gases, with the exception of the halogens, pressures up to 1000 psig (optional) are easily measured.

Sensirion’s SFC3000 is a small, fully digital mass flow controller for high-volume OEM applications. It offers fast and accurate control of gas flows over a very wide range. The digitally calibrated and temperature compensated sensor signal is converted directly into a signal which is used in the digital controlling circuit to control the valve. This results in very high accuracy, fast settling time and a large dynamic range. The mass flow controler’s excellent stability and repeatability make it ideal for analytical instruments. Different gas types and control ranges can be calibrated and switched by software.

The Temperature Relay TR-42 has been designed for continuous monitoring of the temperature, the cooling fan's control and overheat protection for resin or air insulated three-phase transformers.
Thermal detectors PT100 DIN 43760, three of them located inside the transformer coils and the fourth at the core, detect the temperature.
The TR-42 relay is microprocessor-based equipment designed to satisfy all control requirements and guarantee high reliability.

Fuzzy logic is an essential feature of this versatile controller. Although PID control is widely accepted by industry, it is difficult for it to work efficiently in some systems - for example: systems of second order, long lag-time systems, and systems with various set points and loads, etc. This fuzzy logic temperature controller will enhance PID control. Fuzzy logic will adjust PID values indirectly to make the manipulation output value (MV) adjust flexibly and quickly adapt to various processes. This enables a process to reach its predetermined set point in the shortest time with minimum overshoot during tuning or external disturbance.
