Safeset® is a torque limiting safety coupling for release torques from 500 to 10,000,000 Nm. With shapes and sizes and shaft diameters from 30 to 1,000 mm it is excellently suited for any type of system.
The Safeset safety coupling is comprised of a twin-walled pressure sleeve that is inflated at an oil pressure of up to approx. 1,000 bar and is released absolutely tightly by several shear-off tubes.
A shear ring cuts off the shear tube and thereby protects the system from overload; bearings prevent the contact of friction surfaces. A special oil used in the pressure surface and bearing areas guarantees a constant coefficient of friction and thereby high release accuracy.
As opposed to break-off element couplings, the release torque is not influenced by material fatigue.

HAFNER-safety couplings discon-nect the drive from the machine quickly, safely and precisely..
This means that the kinetic energy of the motor and of all driving elements is disconnected up to the safety coupling, so reducing the extent of any damage to a minimum. After repair work the coupling is immediately ready for full operation. It engages automatically in its original position. (one reference point per 360°) Expensive repairs, high costs after a break-down as well as delays in delivery are avoided.

DELTA® DA RKC torque limiter couplings are strong and uncomplicated
overload protections for the connection of two shafts. The cosist of a
normal torque limiter Joytork® with sprocket built in and an additional
sprocket with hub. The two sprockets are connected with a double
roller chain type DIN 8187-ISO R 808 B, tight but slightly elastic.
The two ends of the chain are connected with a connecting link.
DELTA® DA RKC torque limiters are used as overload protection when
a small parallel or angle deviation of the connecting shafts cannot be
excluded.
DELTA® DA RKC torque limiters can be applied in a horizontal or
vertical position. The operating temperature are betwenn –20°C and
+250°C. Maximum temperatures of + 350°C are possible.

DELTA® DA torque limiter with DELTEX®-coupling
- torque limiter for protection against overload between two shafts
- rotary elastic torque limiter can be axialy streched
- variable elasticity due to different shore hardness of the elastic part
|
|
KTR SI with ROTEX®
* Safety coupling up to 13,000 Nm
* Combination with torsionally elastic ROTEX coupling
* For shaft to shaft connection
* Axially pluggable
* Available in ratchet, synchronous and fail-safe design
* Also available as disconnecting design (load disconnecting)

DELFLEX® torque limiter couplings series DA are highly elastic safety
couplings with stepless adjustable torque for the connection of two
shafts. The especially formed rubber element of the elastic coupling
has a large capability of deflection, does act against vibration torque
and absorbs shocks.
|
|
DELTA® DA DELWEX®-coupling
- torque limiters with universal joints and rigid connection of two axle shafts
- large axial, radial and angle flexibility due to double universal joints
- axially assemble.

PerkinElmer’s new Fiber Optic Module has been designed for OEM fiber illumination applications. The module uses an LED light source designed to couple high intensity white light into fiber optic bundles for applications including medical endoscopy, microscopy and machine vision. It offers an energy-efficient, maintenance-free alternative to halogen-based and metal-halide fiber optic illuminators. The LED source is comprised of high power white LEDs, patent-pending optics to precisely couple light into fiber and a heat sink. It has been designed to couple light into 3-10 mm fiber; the light is easily adaptable to a broad range of fiber manufacturers and sizes. Light intensity control electronics are available as an option.
The LED light module delivers a high intensity homogenous spot from the distal end of the fiber bundle. The new module offers a low heat, and low voltage alternative to 150-Watt halogen-based fiber illuminators. In contrast to halogen bulbs, the color temperature of LED light does not change when the light is dimmed or as the bulb ages, resulting in a consistent visual appearance.

Toshiba is one of the top photocoupler suppliers in the world. We have the broadest product line-up with various output types such as Transistor, Triac, Thyristor, MOSFET (a.k.a. photorelays) and ICs, to meet different applications and customer's requirements. Toshiba introduced the LEDIP package, which has been popular in the industry. Also, the well-known white mold technology introduced by Toshiba achieves a high level of optical coupling efficiency. Toshiba is working on developing a variety of packages, functions and efficient production processes to offer the best line-up in the industry. One of the latest packages pioneered by Toshiba is Shrink Dual Inline Package (SDIP). Furthermore, Toshiba has been introducing many new products into the line-up of IC couplers, expanding the product portfolio of high-speed signal driver couplers and highly integrated power device driver couplers.

The coupler is a component of each connector system.
All OSI components are exclusively equipped with qualified brand couplers. This ensures a optimum combination with the used connector types and guaranties the specified characteristics.
