Torsion springs are manufactured from stainless steel spring wire material no. 1.4310 in compliance with EN 10270 part 3 (AISI 302 / BS 301S21). The tolerances for the wire diameters correspond to DIN specification 2076.

Emmotts is able to accommodate any size of wire or bar, and can produce to customer requirements using spring steels, stainless, phosphor and a range of more exotic alloys. Modern automatic spring coiling equipment is used along with hand operations for smaller orders, to ensure the economic production of all orders.
