Already at the end of the seventies NIEDAX decided to take the COLOR-trunkings, made of steel, into the range.
Two lines with three different measurements each came onto the market in 1980 then.
Steady expansions and the fact that ideas and suggestions from installers and planners were taken into account, have allowed this product group to expand to such vast range. Today the standard program covers, 25 different measurements made of steel, 5 profiles made of aluminium and corresponding fittings, balustrade-covering and other accessories.
Based on the long experience of our construction division countless special variations were furthermore carried out in the course of time.

The use of industrial metal trunking is required for difficult ambient conditions. The duct protects the cables from the atmosphere and impacts and also provides an electromagnetic shield.
Splice bars, captive clips, 90° and 135° angled bends, concave and convex, T's, cruciform junctions, separation and coupling corners, end blanking parts, etc., are available to complete the metal trunking system.
In addition to these various elements, patented systems such as rapid installation equipment supports and cable fasteners are available.

Underfloor ducts
Thanks to the modern architecture of office buildings and the present tendency to use glass for the building fronts, underfloor ducts and systems to imbed in concrete are enjoying a new boom. The fact that they need a limited layer of concrete, is also an important advantage especially for buildings with several floors.
Our ducts are made of steady sheet steel, to fulfill the quality and EMC requirements. Thus the installation perfectly suits future requirements. The visible elements such as connecting boxes are conscientiously manufactured. Their quality and ageing stability are well-appreciated.
Coverable floor ducts
By planning a future-orientated building and thinking about its life cycle, the possible changes of use requirements have to be taken into account. New requirements often involve new technical adaptations which allow the costst of coverable floor ducts to be written off.
The recent modifications of our range of floor ducts are focused on the ease of installation. Changing the layout of the rooms will be a pleasure for the end user.

Screed embedded trunking system
The most frequently used system excels through variable application possibilities, which are simple to use. Junction boxes are interconnected via underfloor trunkings. They provide a structured supply of power, data and telephone services and offer the possibility to access cables coming out of the floor. A big range of different trunking cross sections ensures an optimum adaptation to the respective application. Afterwards, the screed is laid so that it is flush with the top edge of the junction boxes. Depending on the condition of the underground (mostly bare concrete floor) boxes with pre-punched trunking inlets completely made of sheet steel or junction boxes with flexible casing and factory-made footfall sound insulation can be used. Both types of junction boxes allow a stepless alignment via set screws accessible from the top. After the screed has been laid, the underfloor trunkings are invisible. Now, supply units or cassettes including outlets and data processing technology can be installed in the junction boxes.

Trunking system in concrete
Functionality:
As the name discribes - this trunking system will be integrated into the bare concrete floor, i.e. cast-in.
No easy task, as the times are becoming shorter between laying of the lagging, to laying of the core iron and casting of the bare floor.
But according to the popular saying of the technicians and engineers - won´t work - is not possible. You can be sure with Electraplan Solutions the right partner be chosen as well as for completion of tricky job definitions.
Trunkings and boxes are tightly rastered.
In-the-concrete boxes are available either for subsequent additional screed laying or without subsequent screed laying.

Under-window ducts
Thanks to our experience and know-how, our line of under-window ducts offers an interesting choice of products, well-known on the Swiss market.
For the material, we have selected sheet steel. Some of its advantages are for example the flexibility of dimensioning and the protection against electromagnetic disturbances. Under-window ducts can be supplied in any desired colour and therefore perfectly be integrated into the room architecture.
Under-window ducts represent an important part of the complete solutions offered by Woertz for the intelligent cabling of buildings. As design elements, they give the required touch to the room - chrome steel products or the complete ducts for example. As clever purpose-built products, they allow an easy and flexible cabling when associated with our flat cable systems.
