Monitors turbidity and product concentration, detects phase transitions, registered with 3-A Sanitary Standards, sanitary clamp connections, sapphire lens, NEMA 6/ IP67 enclosure, 4-20 mA output.
An inline optical sensor that utilizes NIR technology to accurately and instantly detect product transitions, monitor turbidity and measure product concentrations at all stages of your liquid process. ProScan sends a beam of light into the process and measures backscatter.
ProScan acts as an eye in your process to allow real time process control and help improve product quality, improve automation, reduce BOD charges, reduce shrinkage and reduce water and itility charges. |

The turbidity sensor uses a combination of transmission and 90° scattering in a flow-through system. The two photodetectors for scattered and transmitted light and the light source (IR-LED) are situated in a flow-through system made of stainless steel (V4A).
It can be used to determine the turbidity of fresh water and seawater or other liquids and is designed to be part of a flow-system that is optimised for water quality monitoring.
The sensor can be modified to the customer's needs regarding measuring range and accuracy. The response time is less than 5 seconds. The turbidity sensor provides the sensitivity, accuracy and long-term stability required for the continuous measurement of turbidity in estuaries and lagoons. |

The presence of free water in hydraulic fluids results in turbidity, impeding the proper function of the entire system and reducing the service life of the hydraulic fluid and of the circuit components. The PiT 400 sensor has been designed to identify the ingress of water in a circuit, rapidly and reliably. The PiT 400 can be applied in all fluid-based circuits where there is a risk of contamination by water.
