Two models are available, differing by their distance between centres, swing over bed and power.
- OPTICA 360
- OPTICA 590
Combining qualities of conventional machines and CNC ones, this new generation of lathes brings supplementary speed and acurracy, without changing operators habits (in particular, conventional use by the two wheels).
They are an interesting new teach-in lathes alternative.
Because they are designed by operators for themselves, these lathes are easy to use, quick to be in hand (less than a half-day is enough), and need no specific proficiency concerning programming language.

The ABX-51DHY2 and 64DHY2 are "super turning centers" capable of processing high-end parts efficiently in a single setup. Each of the two upper turrets on the left and right side features a Y-Axis control and is capable of having revolving tools attached on all of its 12 stations. A total of 24 tools available, and a large open space provided below the two spindles that minimizes chip problems, help perform trouble-free, simultaneous front and back operations of complex parts in a single machine setup.

Hurco Turning Centers
Hurco TM8 latheThese aren't your standard, run-of-the-mill lathes. These are powered by Hurco's controls, making them uniquely flexible for most applications.
The TM Series is Hurco's new line of CNC slant-bed turning centers. These lathes have been specifically designed for job shops and contract manufacturers who need efficient processing of small to medium sized lots.
As a perfect complement to the VM Series vertical machining centers, it too has a similar small footprint, optimizing precious shop space. It also boasts a large work cube to allow machinists a greater variety of projects.
The TM lathe is designed to be fast - to save valuable time. The fast turret keeps cycle times short, yet is easy to access for faster tool setups. Program on the shop floor with Hurco's patented conversational programming for fast turnaround work, or download files from CAM stations to run with Hurco's innovative NC language. And there are a wide variety of productivity options for the turning center: tailstock, chip management, tool setter, parts catcher and bar feeder.

For workpieces where traditional deep drawing or ironing processes do not lead to satisfactory results due to workpiece properties or production costs, Flow Forming Machines represent the ideal solution. While there are some common applications where both flow forming and deep drawing processes are suitable, flow forming process is a unique solution if:
- End product is rotationally symmetric along its longitudinal axis
- End product aspect ratio (L/d) so high that it cannot be achieved by deep drawing
- Different wall thickness along the length is required
- Reduction in wall thickness is as high as 90%
- Improved surface finish is required together with induced cold work strength
- High dimensional accuracy is required

COMEV SPA has created its new SPEED range of machines thanks to its many years of experience, tireless research to better its products and application of advanced technologies. The SPEED project alms to produce low-cost machines, without sacrifing high extreme precision, reliability and working. This was achieved by meticulous study of every detail that wouid simplify and optimise the production to the utmost. Standard outfitted machine, whit scrupulous design, includes a fully-lit fairing with sliding doors that ensure full protection of the work zone. The machine can be fitted with a series of accessories including horizontal and vertical electric turrets, C axis, motorisedtools, hydraulic spindle, chip-removal system and oily fumes suction filter. The control unit is located on a suspended, arm that can be moved by the user to the most suitable work position. The SPEED lathes, as with the oter machines of the series LEONARDO and PICOdue, are fitted with Z32 numeric control, installed in PENTIUM PC using specific software. With the SPEED series the operator has manual work option, as on a traditional parallel lathe, and a CNC option for automatic external, internal, frontal and self-learning functions.

OMG 325/350 CNA
The self-teach-in lathe equipped with hydraulic chuck, electric revolver turret 8 stations, hydraulic tailstock spindle, hydraulic self-centering rest.
THE CNA SERIES
The lathe with CNC with teach in, comes out from a successful compromise which joints the handiness of a standard lathe to the potentiality of a CNC lathe. For this reason, it is the ideal machine for the customer who needs to conjugate the production demand, either of a single piece and of little and middle series, as well as the employment of workers not accustomed to use the CNC language of programming. This type of lathe can be used in 4 different ways:
-traditional: by using the wheels for axis Z and axis X
- teach in: producing, in a traditional way, a single piece, keeping in memory the measures and so to get automatically a reproducible programme
- teach in: starting from the drawing of the piece, following a driven program on video which uses prearranged cycles (roughing, finishing and taper turning, threading etc.) you make the working programme
- CNC: using ISO programming like a proper CNC lathe. To increase its productivity, the lathe can be equipped with many devices as:
- electric toolholder turrets
- hydraulic chucks
- chips conveyor

- Simple and quick handling by suppression of tedious adjustments and programming operations.
- Treated and rectified cast-iron bed and heavily hardened tracks standing on massive cast-iron support (mechanical structure of conventional lathes HBX).
- Colour screen LCD high resolution.
- Console with intuitive handwheels.
- High capacity with little floor-space.
- Total casing congruent with CE standard, and with complete clearance of the work area (design corresponding to maximal ergonomics and access).
- Machine delivered with standard equipments (triple jaw manual chuck, turret + 2 tool-holders …).
- Options : stationary steady rest, travelling steady rest, sensitive tailstock …
