Wind Sensor Static Light, type WSS-L
New static wind sensor without heating. The ground-breaking ultrasonic measuring principle with no moving parts gives reliable performance without any wear-out problems and without requiring regular service.
Features include:
- Measures relative wind speeds
- Well-suited for dynamic positioning systems
- IP66 housing
- Well-proven and robust technology
- Extensive field tests in rough weather
The WSS-L can be connected directly to a control system and concurrently send the signal via DEIF's interface box (the WSI) to a wind speed and direction indicator (the WSDI) placed on the bridge. An obvious alternative if you want high performance and reliability – not low-cost/high-maintenance!

General descrption:
The new WindMaster Sonic Anemometer range is ideally suited to the measurement of air turbulence around bridges, buildings, wind turbine sites, building ventilation control systems, meteorological, and flux measurement sites. Digital outputs are available from both instruments for U, V, and W vectors; additionally outputs for Speed of Sound and Sonic Temperature are also available.
The WindMaster sonic anemometer is constructed from aluminium and carbon fibre and is available with either a 20Hz or optional 32 Hz data output rate. Optional analogue inputs and outputs are available with either 12 or 14 bit resolution.
The WindMaster Pro is constructed from stainless steel and has a maximum operating wind speed of 65 m/s. With a fast maximum data output rate of 32Hz as standard, improved vertical (W) resolution and SOS accuracy and less distortion due to wind loading. This sonic anemometer is suitable for all applications requiring three axis data. Optional analogue inputs and outputs plus a PRT are available with 14 bit resolution.

AVFM-II Area-Velocity Flow Meter
Monitor flow through open channels, partially full sewer pipes and surcharged pipes without a flume or weir. Ideal for stormwater, combined effluent, raw sewage, irrigation water and streams.
The AVFM-II uses a submerged ultrasonic sensor to continuously measure both Velocity and Level in the channel. The sensor is a completely sealed ultrasonic unit with no orifices or ports. It mounts inside a pipe or at the bottom of a rectangular, trapezoid or egg-shaped channel. Calibration is simple: enter the pipe diameter or channel width and the AVFM-II computes the flow volume and displays the flow rate.
- For Open Channels and Pipes
- Ultrasonic - Measures Velocity + Level to Calculate Flow
- No Flume or Weir required
- 3 Isolated 4-20mA Outputs (Flow, Level and Velocity)
- Totalizer and 2 Programmable Control Relays
- Simple 3-key Calibration - Password Protected
- Optional Intrinsically Safe Sensor
- Optional built-in 50,000 point Data Logger and Software
