NB100 is a microprocessor controlled industrial type continuous DC power supply which is used in industrial and SCADA applications and automation.
When DC input voltage exists, the microprocessor controlled accumulator or group of accumulators are charged regarding the ambience temperature in the light of manufacturer’s suggestions. During the charge, input voltage is regulated and it feeds load at the terminals of 12VDC and 24VDC outputs independent of charge operation. In case of power interrupt, accumulator is switched to regulator inputs, which feed the loads, to provide continuous DC power. High discharge on accumulator or group of accumulators is electronically controlled and in case of decrease in accumulator voltage exceeds safe threshold voltage, connection with the load is cut.
With its dynamical power management feature, NB100 shares power between accumulator and load regarding load has higher priority when the current demand of load increases and staying between the total power limit of the device. Hence, load can use total power in case of demand. For a right dynamical power management only thing that is needed to be done is programming current capacity connected to input and Ah value. |

DC topology provides cost effective, efficient back-up power for 24 V DC applications. The SolaHD DC UPS will support the load during AC power loss or power supply failure.
Off-Line topology (also called stand-by) is a cost-effective UPS choice for small, less critical, stand-alone applications such as isolated PLC, PCs and peripherals. Network communications are a useful option.
Line-Interactive topology provides highly effective power conditioning plus battery back-up. This is particularly applicable in areas where power outages are rare, but where there are frequent power fluctuations. Network communications are available and sometime necessary.
The On-Line alternative provides the highest levels of power protection, conditioning and power availability. True on-line topology is accomplished with double conversion technology. Network communications are often necessary to protect mission-critical applications. |

The solution inverter DELPHYS with dynamic storage of energy VSS DC was carried out by the partnership between SOCOMEC UPS and PENTADYNE.
PRINCIPLE
VSS DC uses a very high-speed, rotating flywheel.
The rotating assembly is held up by maintenance-free electromagnetic levitation, with no contact with other parts.
A maintenance-free internal system vacuum
eliminates friction and maximizes energy efficiency.
The flywheel-driven generator supplies energy to the UPS during a power failure, thus providing continuous power to the load.
When mains power is restored, the flywheel
takes between 20 seconds and 2 minutes to return to full speed.

| The device that maintains continuous power supply even on the absence of mains power supply is called UPS or Uninterrupted power supply. This is usually connected between the main source and the working system. It switches from the mains power supply to the battery power instantaneously whenever there is a fault in the mains power supply or the power supply is not there at all. It is generally used to protect typically computers, telecommunications equipment, and other electrical equipment where there is a chance of power failure. UPS are available from 200VA onwards to large systems which can support the power supply of multistoried buildings. It is typically the need of all data centers, and computer network systems. Sometimes in large systems it is used in conjunction with generators but it is not to be confused with standby generators.
