KNF diaphragm vacuum pumps for air and neutral, slightly aggressive or corrosive gases and vapours offer the right choice for many applications. Irrespective of size, the special features of the diaphragm are built into every pump: uncontaminated transfer , no pollution of the media, maintenance-free and gas tightness. Application e.g. used as a roughing pump for turbo molecular pumps.

VACUUBRAND diaphragm pumps are totally oil free, mechanical vacuum pumps. Diaphragm pumps are the efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to water jet pumps. They do not consume water and, therefore, they do not produce contaminated waste water. Diaphragm pumps can be used in a multitude of applications for vacuum generation in laboratories and process plants, such as vacuum filtration, vacuum degasing, vacuum impregnation, vacuum drying chambers, rotary evaporators, distillation, gel dryers, gas analytical systems and roughing of wide-range turbo molecular pumps.
Diaphragm pumps offer low ultimate vacuum down to 80 mbar (one-stage pumps), 9 mbar (two-stage pumps), 2 mbar (three-stage pumps) or 0.3 mbar (four-stage pumps). Optimized kinetics for minimum work and wear of the diaphragm result in high reliability, low scuffing, long life and low noise level of the diaphragm. Only selected resistant materials such as FPM (e.g. Viton® fluoroelastomers) and aluminium or PTFE compounds - depending on the version - are used for the gas and vapour contacted parts.

- combination of a diaphragm pump with a rotary vane pump
- for the fine-vacuum range in special applications, e.g. for aggressive gases and vapours, for evacuation of solvent recovery vapours, for pumping of vapours which are soluble in oil
- example of use: freeze drying

The DVP is a membrane pneumatic pump high specifications of a 1:1 report/ratio developed for the direct power supply of the paint guns and
liquid product.
This concept guarantees a constant direct food and virtually without pulsations of the guns by avoiding the cost and the complications of a regulator of fluid or a clearing house.
Range DVP includes pumps alone, assembled pumps and offers
complete "ready with employment" matched with guns of high fame, DeVilbiss Advance or FLG5. Pump DVP is ideal for a use with ALL the TYPES of technologies of gun, conventional, Trans-Tech©, HVLP,
LVLP or electrostatics.
