The Fairchild Model 17 Vacuum Regulator is designed for systems that require system vacuum control up to full vacuum. The Model 17 control diaphragm is balanced by a set of three range springs to provide the most stable, responsive and reliable operation. Stability of regulated vacuum or pressure is maintained under varying flow conditions through the use of an aspirator tube which adjusts the inner valve in accordance with the flow velocity. The Model 17 pneumatic vacuum regulator features control sensitivity of 1/2" water column and a balanced supply valve to deliver consistent and reliable precision accuracy to maintain your desired set point regardless of supply pressure changes or conditions. In fact, it will deliver this performance with a vacuum supply effect of less than 0.15 of any change in supply vacuum. The Fairchild Model 17 will handle a 40 in Hg, 762 Torr, 102 kPa maximum supply vacuum and offers three (3) output vacuum ranges from 0-5 in Hg, 0-127 Torr, 0-17 kPa, up to 0-30 in Hg, 0-762 Torr, 0-102 kPa. The Fairchild Model 17 pneumatic vacuum regulator offers up to 12 SCFM, 20.4 m3/hr flow capacity.

General description :
The M 20 RC System of Vacuum Regulators is designed for dosing gas chlorine and with minor alterations also for other gases, working on the indirect vacuum principle.
The M 20 RC System consists of an M 20 C vacuum regulatorwith dosing valve and an M 300 C ejector.
Dosing can be set manually by means of the dosing valve on the regulator. It starts or stops when the ejector pump switches on or off .

World first: The new Pirani sensor VSP 3000 from VACUUBRAND offers the world first fine vacuum sensor with outstanding corrosion resistance and mechanical robustness. Primarily designed for applications in chemistry laboratories and process engineering, it benefits from a ceramic-encapsulated measuring element, an embedded reference element for temperature stability and wetted parts made of high-grade chemically resistant plastics. This technological breakthrough means that the VSP 3000 is a high shock proof sensor that will even survive in the event of sudden gas bumping – a typical cause of failure for standard sensor filaments.
This new patent pending sensor design is unique in fine vacuum measurement and sets a new benchmark standard for chemical fine vacuum measurement. The new Pirani sensor VSP 3000 from VACUUBRAND can be used in conjunction with both the DCP 3000 vacuum gauge and the CVC 3000 vacuum controller respectively and offers therefore not only a versatile fully chemically resistance in the measuring range from atmosphere down to 10-3 mbar, but also the innovative possibility of accurate 2-point vacuum control within this extended range. In addition, up to four external gauge heads can be connected simultaneously to the DCP 3000 vacuum gauge for easy and cost effective multi-point measurement. With small flange connection KF DN 16 at the gauge head and a screw-in hose nozzle for DN 6 to DN 10, the sensor offers flexible connection options for existing vacuum apparatus. Finally, the VACUU•BUS™-system also allows cable extensions up to 30 m, enabling remote application usage.

These days, it is hard to imagine modern laboratories
without controller-operated vacuum
pump systems. They deliver precise vacuum
and offer widely diverse control functions for a
huge range of applications in the laboratory.
The new vacuum pump system SC 920 now
supports remote control over a portable hand
terminal, thus ensuring maximum flexibility in
the laboratory. Fast process times and high precision
are further outstanding features of this
new product.
Thanks to wireless remote control, it is
no longer essential for the vacuum
pump system to be located in the immediate
vicinity of the processing equipment.
The pump system can now be
easily stowed away, i.e. in units under
the work bench or in a fume hood,
without the hassle of laying cables.

Pressure Switches
Better under pressure. For years, manufacturers and operators of heavy-duty equipment have trusted Honeywell pressure and vacuum switches. They're proven under pressure, in applications constantly under attack from chemical splashes, performance spikes and other harsh environments. These switches sense a change in the pressure or vacuum, opening or closing an electrical circuit when the designated point is reached.
Honeywell offers an impressive line:
-Compact size
-Durable construction
-Enhanced set point integrity
-Customisation and modifications available

Nor-Cal offers an extensive selection of commonly used quartz crystal feedthroughs, sensors and multi-channel monitors, cables, quartz crystals, accessories and replacement parts for use in semiconductor, optical and industrial thermal deposition processes. Custom feedthroughs are available with a variety of flanges in all sizes.
Our coating instrumentation products support one of the more popular methods of thin film measurement and rate control _ the crystal monitor, which utilizes the piezoelectric properties of a quartz crystal.
The electrical characteristics of the crystal, which is held in place by the sensor, change during deposition. Single sensors are generally used for short deposition runs, whereas, dual sensors allow for longer runs. Dual sensors require an airline to operate a pneumatic shutter which covers one crystal at a time. The sensor is either welded to the feedthrough or attached with connectors. Most sensors are available with cooling lines.
The application determines the correct choice of sensor. The sensor determines compatible feedthroughs and cabling. The chamber determines the appropriate feedthrough and flange. For application temps up to 150°C, electrical connection between the sensor and feedthrough is accomplished with a vacuum coaxial cable. A bakeable, one piece sensor/feedthrough replaces the standard in-vac cable with a stainless steel high-temp coaxial line for high temperature applications up to 300°C.
