G Series:
A unique Scotch Yoke design incorporating a 5 degree off set in the scotch yoke mechanism which enables the maximum torque to be delivered at the closed position. This is ideal for butterfly valves, where the maximum torque is required at the seat break in and break out positions. The G series actuator range meets the latest Atex requirements and is produced in an ISO 9001: 2000 factory. Full traceability is available with each actuator, and a wide range of options are available. The standard G Series range has 15 Double acting and 15 Spring return Models and covers the Tomoe Valve range from DN40 - DN600.
Other models:
To fully complement the characteristics of the Tomoe butterfly valve design, a full range of Rack Pinion and Vane type actuators are available. All are sized to match the low torque benefits offered by the Tomoe seat design.

The Morin Partial Stroke Test Device (PSTD) was developed to allow users to test emergency shut-down valves without disrupting the process. The PSTD unit is locked out when the unit is in service and the valve functions normally. When the unit needs to be tested, the operator unlocks the device and inserts the stop pin, allowing for 15 degrees of valve travel to sufficiently test the valve package. Unlike electronic versions, you are guaranteed a hard stop and no over-travel, time after time, without any special calibration.

What makes SOMAS actuators so special? One reason is that they have been specially designed to cope with the requirements of the process industry for reliable operation and precise control. Our actuators are mainly intended for use with SOMAS valves , but they can be easily adapted for use with other valves demanding a 90 degree arc of operation.
We have spared no effort in order to eliminate any backlash between the moving parts of the actuator or between the actuator and the valve. This has created the neccessary prerequisites for pinpoint precision and has laid the foundation for accurate diagnostics.

Standard EA Series Rotary Actuators
The standard EA series of actuators contains both gear driven crankshaft and hydraulic powered axial shaft actuators. They can be used with combustion air dampers and a wide variety of low, medium and high torque rotary shaft valve bodies with crankarms. The EA series can accommodate applications requiring position to be held or returned to normal position during power interruptions. Used for two-position floating and proportional electric control, these actuators are employed wherever it is desirable to move a load in either direction or to stop it at any point in the stroke. Typical applications include heat treat furnaces, ovens, heat recovery systems, and water and oil cooling systems. Eight base models plus variants are included in the complete product range, offering a variety of control action, motor voltage and frequency, torque, return action and optional features.

Manual lever
The lever with return spring KINETROL brings to you the insurance of a position of safety per defect, without need for checking.
This type of lever, composed of 1 lever and 1 spiral spring, is ideal for:
