Soft-Seat Copper Check Valves:
Parker's Soft-Seat Copper Check Valves are used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems to maintain flow in only one direction. Internal components seat or "check," preventing flow back through the valve. These products are often used in conjunction with dryers or strainers to ensure unidirectional flow, with compressors to prevent liquid refrigerant from flooding back to the inlet, or in system lines to redirect flow to another circuit.
Application:
Refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
Features and Benefits:
Soft-seat valve features a Neoprene o-ring that seals to a metal seat for low refrigerant leakage (10cc/min. compared to traditional check valves with 750 cc/min.).
Brass piston seat and steel piston provide corrosion resistance and durability.
Sweat connections in a variety of sizes provide for easy installation and simplified brazing.

The Selas automatic firecheck, or flame arrestor, is basically a check valve which is closed by actuation of a thermal release. Components include a shut-off valve, check valve, corrugated fire screen, and a thermal latch. In normal operations, the combustible fuel/air mixture passes freely through these components. If flashback occurs,the sudden increase in back pressure will cause the check valve to close and momentarily interrupt the forward flow of the fuel/air mixture. The reduced flow and the internal configuration of the firecheck allow the backward-traveling flame to stop at the fire screen. The tiny holes and chilling capacity of the fire screen hold the flame on the screen until the thermal element is heated and releases the latch to close the shut-off valve. This valve-closure stops fuel/air flow and prevents the flashback from proceeding past the firecheck. The shut-off valve remains closed until manually reset.

Pressure Relief Valves
* Fine pressure adjustment
* CNC precision machined parts
* Cost effective and reliable
* Variety of materials available
* Right-angle, 3-port design
Sigmamotor pressure relief valves operate when the system pressure raises above the set pressure of the valve to protect systems from damage due to blockages or excessive pressure situations.
Inside the valve a spring holds a diaphragm against the valve seat until preset pressure is exceeded, then the diaphragm is forced up and the material in the system is forced out of the relief port. The valve is set at 65psi at the factory but is easily field adjustable.

Presenting pressure reducing valves for steam and air. A wide assortment of models is available, including pilot operated models, direct-acting models and models with integral separators and steam traps.
Operating Pressure Range: -12 - 300 psig
Operating Temperature Range: 32 - 428 F
Valves for controlling steam or air pressure. They provide the prescribed pressure even when flow rates fluctuate.
Selection can be made from among a wide assortment of models - including pilot operated and direct-acting models and models with integral separators and steam traps - to suit the objective or application.
The high precision pressure reducing valves for process applications employ a separator with steam trap and shock-absorbing spherical piston to yield a superior flow rate characteristic.
The basic configuration of the reducing valves for air is identical to that of those for steam, and therefore also yields a superior flow rate characteristic.

Managers of vehicle service centers can now turn to our new thermal pressure relief device to protect against possible damage to their closed pipe systems caused by thermal expansion. For example, as oil warms, it expands and causes pressuresometimes oil that was 300 psi becomes 2,000 to 3,000 psi. Such pressure spikes can cause costly damage if they exceed the design capacity of pipes and system components. Our pressure relief valve returns fluid/material back to the tank, limiting the pressure to protect the system.

Reliable Pressure Relief:
Hayward Pressure Relief Valves protect piping system components from damage due to over pressurization. The valves work by sensing system pressure. When the system pressure exceeds the set pressure, the force of the excess pressure moves the valve piston off its seat to relieve the excess pressure and diverts some of the flow out the discharge port.
Easy to Set Pressure:
Hayward Pressure Relief Valves can be set by hand, no tools are needed, to relieve pressures from 5 to 75 PSI. Each size of relief valve is designed to cover this complete pressure range with just one, non-wetted, plastic coated spring. There is no need to change springs for different pressure ranges as with ordinary relief valves.
Molded Gauge Port:
An integrally molded 1/4" NPT gauge port on the valve body makes installation of a gauge to monitor the relief pressure easy. No drilling or extra fittings are needed.
No Corrosion Failure:
These all plastic relief valves have no metal parts and will never fail, jam or stick because of rusted or corroded components. They require no painting or epoxy coatings to survive corrosive environments.

Quik-Vent
Vacuum/Pressure Relief Valve
Series 684
Controls unsafe pressure conditions
The Quik-Vent vacuum / pressure relief valve is an excellent safety device for mounting on storage silos, bins or any other container to relieve excessive or unwanted air pressure that might be generated by a pneumatic conveying system or other process equipment.
Unsafe conditions are easily controlled by the Quik-Vent vacuum/pressure relief valve. Generous ports quickly exhaust air or gases to protect against sudden positive or negative pressure conditions.
Optional sensors are also available to provide an electrical signal to indicate when over or under pressure conditions are present.
