The new edition to this range of mechanical, metal keyboards offers six rows of keys including the standard ‘F’ function keys. The ‘F’ keys perform the same, standard functions as any other office keyboard. Different language layouts are available also.
Even with an extra row, the external dimensions of the MF2 layout are exactly the same as the existing 5-row keyboards, so existing equipment can be upgraded without design changes.
Strength and durability are at the heart of this product. A brushed, stainless steel front plate provides resistance to shock and vandalism up to IK09 (10J) and resistance to liquid and dust penetration to IP67. The anti-pull-off keys are made from Zamak with a chrome finish and offer more than four million operations. Key markings are enhanced by using laser engraving methods to give better resistance to wear.
The keyboard can be supplied with an integrated numeric pad, similar to a standard office keyboard, or with an integral ‘trackball’ pointing device, which is available in three types: stainless steel, phenolic (plastic), and optical.
The optical trackball provide full sealing to IP67.
EAO’s W.series keyboard range is particularly suited to the needs of any public environment applications including kiosks and information terminals, or any harsh industrial environment.

An exclusive design combined with high-quality technology results in the new high-grade stainless steel space saving keyboard "Industeel" from InduKey®. The data input device with 84 keys distinguishes by its congenial key form: The key tops with finger identation. You will have the best tactile feeling due to carbon contact. Big letters ensure best operation comfort. The Industeel is used within public ranges, which require a vandal proof keyboard, e. g. information terminals and kiosks. Therefore the keyboard is also dust and water-protected (IP65 / Nema6) and possesses non-removable key caps.
The Industeel is available with and without trackball by the keyboard specialist: Under the designation TKV-084-MODUL the customer gets the keyboard without additional mouse device. The TKV-084-TB25V-MODUL includes an integrated 25 mm robust high-grade stainless steel trackball, which can also be replaced by a black plastic ball on customer's request. Both keyboards do have a laser lettering that protects against abrasion.

The standard line includes also the Inox keyboards that are installed in special weather conditions (outdoor) and where protection against vandal acts is needed. The three models such as Digi-Inox®, Click-Inox® and the brand-new Digi-Inox-XT® are adaptable to any market requirement. Solid, compact and unscratchable products, made to be used in aseptic environments or extreme condition, they are conceived for the proper characteristics of each applying sector: bank automatic counters, multi-medial open-air stalls, last generation household appliances and military equipment, for the pharmaceutical and automotive industry. In the side photo an example of 68 keys Digi-Inox-XT with long switch stroke, with a front panel and, as pointing option, a plastic trackball (available also in Inox). The shape of keys isn’t round but oval just to avoid a rotation. It carries a softer key for being more digitable.

EAO offers the ultimate keypad for product designers
A rugged keypad which combines strength, versatility and beauty is available from EAO - the expert partner for Human Machine Interfaces.
EAO's S.series keypad is the ultimate product for any application that requires a key-entry control, including access control systems, industrial machinery, banking terminals, public telephones, kiosks and vending machines. It is highly tactile and therefore reassuring to use, yet extremely reliable and hard-wearing enough for the harshest of environments, such as outdoor and unsupervised locations.
The S.series keypad offers great design flexibility from a standard product and can be customised to suit the environment of the application.
The keys on the S.series keypad can be engraved with a range of standard symbols or ones specified by the customer. The keypad and individual keys can be illuminated in white, blue, red, yellow and green, or a combination of these colours; halo illumination around the keys is also a possibility.
The metal-bodied S.series keypad features a front plate and anti-pull-off keys constructed from an ultra-tough material, Zamak, which guarantees a high level of impact-resistance. It is sealed to IP67 against water and dust, and it will resist heat, shock and vibration to a very high level. It is tested for quality to 4 million operations and is certified according to the latest international standards.
The S.series keypad from EAO requires minimal maintenance and delivers long term value in terms of lifecycle cost benefits.
