Leader Tech introduces its high performance EMI shielded air vent panels to its product range. Air vent panels are manufactured using aluminum, steel or brass and are available in various plating finishes and mounting configurations allowing for installation in most applications.

Metex EMI vent panels provide maximum attenuation with minimal air-flow resistance. Shielding effectiveness is greater than 80 dB at 10 MHz for chromate finished, single layer honeycomb, and is increased to 105 dB using our cross cell construction. By selecting the appropriate frame style, finish, and gasket type, performance can be custom tuned to meet your shielding requirements, and your budget constraints.
Vent panels are constructed of aluminum alloy honeycomb, with a perimeter frame of aluminum extrusion for mounting and gasket application. Various gasket options include wire mesh, spring finger, or conductive fabrics

Function
The TSO is a supply and exhaust air diffuser designed for ceiling assembly. The TSO has a perforated front plate and a connection sleeve fitted with a rubber seal tested for airtightness. The TSO has high induction which allows a maximum air temperature difference of dT 10 K. The distribution pattern can be altered with the SSO shielding accessory to one-, two- or three-way distribution. The distribution unit is adjustable.

ATI Dual Stack Ventilation panel is a high level EMI shielded air filter with superior performance. Extruded aluminum profiles surround dual layers of ¼-inch honeycomb and welded in place. Both honeycomb layers are positioned 90 degrees to each other, optimizing shielding effectiveness and minimizing the polarization characteristics of straight aluminum honeycomb. Alco-Multi Gasket, a combination of neoprene sponge and monel mesh or Alco-Knit, is installed on the panel. Hole locations are customized for easy surface mount installation with standard 8-32 rivnuts or .203 diameter holes. Plating options enhance shielding effectiveness.

Brass or steel extrusions are customized to surround brass or steel honeycomb and welded in place. Continuous flow soldering provides enhanced contact between the honeycomb and frame improving integrity. Alco Multi-Gasket, a combination of neoprene sponge and monel mesh fit, most applications although Alco-Knit or conductive gaskets are available. Standard through holes and spacing for surface mounting installation is customized. Vents without gasketing can be welded in place. Brass vents are typically finished with tin lead plating. Steel vents are commonly finished with tin plating. Other plating options available. Ideal for mobile military transportation, communication shelters or equipment where EMP or TEMPEST is required.

ATI- Thin Filters are frequently placed at intake and exhaust areas and are best utilized where narrow space limitations are a requirement.
