MiniFlat with Step Controller
General
MiniFlat® CNC machines are set-up modular (with and without baseframe), with high operating comfort for a multitude of automatable tasks and applications at an ideal price/performance ratio.
The basis is a a sturdy aluminum steel frame with linear units. The clearance free ball screws used in the linear axes ensure high precision, accuracy and smooth running.
MiniFlat®-CNC machines are available as compact units in 4 standard sizes with traverse paths of

in open and closed design (with protective cover).
The linear units with stepper motors are ideally adjusted to the control and the software. The stepper motor controller with safety circuit is located at the back side of the MiniFlat®.

Operation is done from the front with function keys or optionally with the control panel.

For long travels and heavy-duty cutting capacity in a vertical-spindle machining center, Haas Automation offers the VS series: bed-style vertical machining centers with fully supported x-axis travels and large-scale production capabilities.
The Haas VS-3 is a 50-taper, geared-head vertical machining centers with travels of 150" x 50" x 50" (3810 x 1270 x 1270mm) and a 30+1 side-mount tool changer. Because the table is supported along the entire x-axis travel, VS models have a part capacity of 10,000 lb. HS650L
Super High-accuracy milling machine
The Sodick dynamic linear technology comes into operation with the new Sodick high-speed milling machine HS650L as well.
The very high specification for the HS650L results in extremely high levels of accuracy, far beyond those normally associated with high speed milling, making it particularly appropriate for mould and die applications which call for maximum precision and surface quality, for example in the optical and electronic communication sectors.
This high precision, linear motor drive machining centre offers the high rigidity, accuracy and performance that customers have come to expect of the smaller HS430, but with a larger table, extended stroke and open height, increased maximum tool length, and double the linear motor output power.
To ensure that the very high levels of dynamics and precision can be applied optimally to work-pieces, the HS650L machine bed features a cast construction for rigidity and stability – as evidenced by the machine weight of 7,200kg. However, while the machine itself offers solidity and strength, the software to operate it is lightning fast state-of- the-art technology, using the Sodick Motion Control closed regulating system which ensures that impulses from the direct measuring system are sent via the CNC core in real time, without detours, directly to the drive regulator.
