KX The big sized machines
Market research amongst mould-makers, 3-D tool-making companies and organisations involved in the aerospace sectors has confirmed the degree of interest in a new medium sized 5-axis machine for 5-surface, 5-axis roughing and finishing of steel, aluminium or cast ferrous components.
Collaboration between the Engineering team at HURON and Engineers in our Supplier Partners has meant that not only have we been able to construct a machine with high performance levels, but that we achieved the extremely competitive pricing objectives that were set.
This milling centre will improve both productivity and quality of machining in complex components both in large automotive organisations (and automotive equipment manufacturers) as well as in large aerospace companies and all their sub-contracting partners.

FLA Series :
The new generation of the FLA series combines the productivity of a milling machine to the high speed and potential of a movable bridge machining centre.
It is chacterized by high dynamics with all axes; it also features customizable revolver or tool changer cutter-heads for ensuring maximum productivity for sector specific productions.
All this comes with an ideal price/performance ratio. 80 mt/min rapid speed along with up to 0.8 g of X -Y -Z axis acceleration represent the necessary requirements for trimming plastic, composite AND WOOD materials, as well as for machining light alloys. The modular-designed extensible magazine is standard equipped with 8 stations for Hsk 63F and Hsk 63A and can be widely customized. Among the various optionals, automated loading/unloading systems (rotary tables and parallel loaders) enable a quick tooling of the machining centre.
