SATELLITE XL
5-axis CNC machining centre with moving gantry structure. Designed for drilling, milling, thread cutting and cutting on bars or workpieces of aluminium, PVC, light alloys in general and steel. The moving part of the machine consists of a gantry with precision rack and pinion drive. The high power (10Kw in S1) electrically-driven spindle with HSK40F tool holder allows machining operations, including heavy duty work, with optimum results in terms of speed and accuracy. A 9-place tool magazine is installed behind the moving gantry structure. The 300 mm blade is housed separately. The machine can be used in double mode so as to minimize machine downtime, as it is possible to change the workpiece (load/unload) in "concealed" time. It is also possible to load and consequently machine, workpieces whose codes and machining operations differ between the two work areas. The gantry is provided with a guard which, besides protecting the operator, also reduces the noise impact on the environment.

Titan is a 5 controlled axes machining centre.
The axes slide (X, Y and Z) on high precision, robust, reliable linear guide-ways (35mm) with recirculating ball blocks with four contacts. The axes movements are controlled by brushless Yaskawa servomotors by means of pinion, rack and mechanical system for backlash recovery for X axis (longitudinal) and high precision ground recirculating ball screw and preloaded lead for Y (transversal) and Z (vertical) axes.
The C and D axes control the electrospindle rotation, positioning its axis in any direction square to the surface of an upper hemisphere.

The 5-axis machining CM 27 has become a synonym for first class
routing operations. This MAKA series allows the three-dimensional machining of any kind of material to be used in the pattern and model making industry as well as castings and light metals.
This series combines sector-specific features with the advantages of a light
machine tool and is used wherever economical heavy-duty machining is
required: by manufacturers of prototypes, in the automotive and rail vehicle
industry as well as by manufacturers of large-scale wooden mouldings or
patterns.
Outstanding feature of the machine is the high flexibility: Routing, sawing,
drilling, thread cutting or -routing can be performed in almost any angle;
a rigid and dynamic design, a high Z axis, a heavy-duty routing unit
as well as well-proven 5-axis technology are only some of the advantages.
The large tool magazine with a deposit for a saw blade allows complete
machining operations with only one clamping.

The design of the LINEA SILVER is inspired by the same construction and modularity criteria which feature the LINEA STEEL machines. LINEA SILVER can be utilized both for small batches (even single pieces) and for big series. Furthermore, it offers the possibility of grinding in unmanned cycles.
This range consists of five models for grinding sizes from 450x850x700(h) to 4250x850x700(h) mm. Alternatively, there are two control systems, i.e. either CNC or NC, the software of which has been purposely developed directly by Rosa Ermando SpA.
Our CNC solution offers rapidity of use due to complete parameterized cycles. The utilization of softkeys makes the operator's job quite easy and quick. The standard power-rate of the wheel motor is 15 kW.

The 524 CNC is manufactured using the same larger capacity, high rigidity, base, column, saddle assembly of our already highly popular 524 Easy surface grinder. With its 500 x 200mm (20" x 8") table capacity it offers unrivalled ease-of-use coupled to the highest levels of productivity.
Incorporating a GE-Fanuc® 21i control the 524 CNC and its operator communicate by an easy to read screen and clearly described keys and controls. Using a combination of graphic and text prompts the operator is taken through simple digitizing style set up routines to create wheel form/dress and grinding cycles. Suggested parameter values are offered which can be selected or amended as required.

Every ShaftGrind L installed, is the concrete transformation of the requirements specific to the work piece into an optimally designed production concept. It doesn't matter whether you work with one component over several years or if the spectrum of application varies or expands ShaftGrind system with its modular design offers you diversified solutions.
ShaftGrind L can be obtained as a single- or double-slide machine, with a grinding length of 650 mm or up to 1.100mm or as ShaftGrind L synchro. Each slide is equipped with a slewable spindle. Needless to say, the B-axis is available for both sildes. Thus, the ShaftGrind L can be configured completely with one to six spindles that are independent of each other or used simultaneously.

The second grinding spindle which swivels around the first spindle, offers the unique facility of grinding the concave cam contour with the highest possible precision. The external diameter of the first spindle thereby forms the bearing for the swivelling spindle. inervention times possible. The large grinding wheel fixed on the slewable spindle with a diameter ranging from 70 to 370 mm, guarantees a long tool life. Low profile lift tables, due to their low closed height, do not require a floor pit, offering flexibility of location and keeping installation costs to a minimum. It is possible to transport the table easily and in safety by a “mobility kit” from one work station to another providing an even higher flexibility in use.
Two versions are available, either full top platform or “U” shaped, which is particularly useful when loading a pallet safely onto the table using a hand pallet or pedestrian truck without the need for an access ramp.

Cobra™ 3D is a non-contact measuring instrument capable of automatically acquiring a series of linear profiles in order to map an area for 3D analysis. 3D profiles provide important detail easily missed in a single linear profile. For example, the symmetry of a critical feature clearly shows in a 3D plot. Scanning an area also proves that the apex of a feature was scanned, an important capability not easily verified with a single linear scan.
Cobra 3D uses proven DRS™(Digital Range Sensor) laser technology to scan surfaces with up to 0.125 µm Z height resolution. Computer controlled motors move the DRS over the part while a precision stage translates the part beneath the DRS to build up a series of linear scans. Scan-X® analysis software controls the process and presents the results graphically and numerically.
The optional video camera makes setup even easier and provides live color imaging of the scanning process for visual verification of the scan location on the part.

O2DS Scanner measures where others give up - think of hot rolled steel.
The O2DS scanner is an optoelectronic unit for non-contact precision measurement in two dimensions, developed for 2D- / profile-measurement in all kinds of industrial applications.
The O2DS is a laser scanner of the Flying Spot type. The measurement is performed by oscillating the triangulation plane over an angel up to 50°. A fine focused/collimated laser beam is diffusely reflected from the surface of almost any kind of object, and a CCD-camera records the image through an objective.
The measuring frequency is 2 kHz. Different scanning angels can be combined with four different measuring ranges. The smallest range covers 80 to 180 mm and the largest 380 to 1080 mm. The smaller the measuring range is, the higher the resolution will be.
As well as the ODS sensors, the 02DS scanner can be delivered as HT (high temperature) models for measuring on objects with surface temperature up to about 1200°C. Used under such conditions, precautions must be taken to protect the scanner from the heat.
Scanners can furthermore be customized to other than standard scan angels and measuring ranges.
