EuroMod base units are ready-to-use CNC systems with a great ease of use for a large number of tasks and applications that can be automated.
Rigid, low vibration steel and aluminium constructions made of isel system profiles and system elements are the mechanical basis for the EuroMod base units. The isel ball screw drives with steel spindles 16 x 5 mm, used in the positioning axes, provide for high precision.
When developing the EuroMod base units, the focus was especially put on a small space requirement.
All base units need a floor width of only 1,160 mm. The dimensions in depth are:

SATELLITE XL
5-axis CNC machining centre with moving gantry structure. Designed for drilling, milling, thread cutting and cutting on bars or workpieces of aluminium, PVC, light alloys in general and steel. The moving part of the machine consists of a gantry with precision rack and pinion drive. The high power (10Kw in S1) electrically-driven spindle with HSK40F tool holder allows machining operations, including heavy duty work, with optimum results in terms of speed and accuracy. A 9-place tool magazine is installed behind the moving gantry structure. The 300 mm blade is housed separately. The machine can be used in double mode so as to minimize machine downtime, as it is possible to change the workpiece (load/unload) in "concealed" time. It is also possible to load and consequently machine, workpieces whose codes and machining operations differ between the two work areas. The gantry is provided with a guard which, besides protecting the operator, also reduces the noise impact on the environment. |

Titan is a 5 controlled axes machining centre.
The axes slide (X, Y and Z) on high precision, robust, reliable linear guide-ways (35mm) with recirculating ball blocks with four contacts. The axes movements are controlled by brushless Yaskawa servomotors by means of pinion, rack and mechanical system for backlash recovery for X axis (longitudinal) and high precision ground recirculating ball screw and preloaded lead for Y (transversal) and Z (vertical) axes.
The C and D axes control the electrospindle rotation, positioning its axis in any direction square to the surface of an upper hemisphere.

Representing the latest generation of UNISIGN machining centres, the UNIPENT 4000 combines powerful machining capabilities in 5 axes with highly dynamical machine features and highest accuracy. The UNIPENT 4000 is the result of a continuing development process over a period of more than 30 years.
The concept of the UNIPENT 4000 is based on a portal machine configuration with a two-sided synchronised drive system in Y-axis, for the movable bridge, and a moving spindle carrier with ram in X-axis.
Integrated in the 45° inclined base frame is the rotating and tilting table for 5-axes machining and positioning of complex components. The inclined front face facilitates easy chip and coolant flow.
The machine is fully enclosed with electronic safety locks on the operator doors. A slide way system (option) can open the roof top to enable loading from the top side of the machine.
The stationary tool storage offers space to 69 tools.
A high dynamics package gives the machine accelerations of 10 m/s2 en rapid speeds of 60 m/min in all linear axes. The C-axis speed of the rotating and tilting table is increased to 52 rpm.
A high accuracy package with linear scales in all axes, two in Y-direction for the two-sided drive system, makes the machine predestined to be successfully utilised in manufacturing systems with highest accuracy requirements.
Two direct drive water cooled spindle configurations are available, offering 36 kW and 12.000 or 16.000 rpm for general machining tasks. For high speed cutting the powerful UNISIGN motor spindle, with 25.000 rpm and power output of up to 100 kW, is available.

The UNIPORT machining centres with a moving portal bridge in X-direction are ideal for large and voluminous products. A characteristic feature of the UNIPORT range is the travelling bridge, which moves across the generously dimensioned fixed table. This concept offers excellent access for easy loading and unloading of components by means of lifting equipment, crane etc.
