UNISORB® GK™ Low Frequency Foundation Blocks :
The GK™ Low Frequency Foundation Block is specifically used for isolating equipment where low interfering frequencies are encountered. They are typically used under concrete foundations supporting either source or sensitive machines. The highly specialized rubber compounds used, unique geometrical shape and carefully controlled load deflection characteristics make the GK block an excellent lower cost alternative to installations normally required to reach system natural frequencies as low as 4 Hz. GK™ Blocks are available in load ratings from 4,000 to 18,000 lbs.
Examples of GK™ Low Frequency Foundation Block applications include:
- Coordinate measuring machines
- Precision optical equipment

Limits based on damping direction. Force always relates to the net load which is pushing or pulling on the dashpot. Typically, force will dictate the unit’s size when the Airpot is used in the dashpot configuration (as opposed to snubber configurations where energy is the primary factor).
At rest, the dashpot is a passive device and has no force output. In motion, the dashpot offers a resisting force which rises to equal the force of the input load, achieving a zero net force. This results in zero acceleration and constant velocity.
Force limits of Airpot dashpots are determined by the direction of damping and the diameter of the piston.
In pull damping units, a vacuum is being created in the dashpot as the piston moves outward. Thus, the maximum resisting force limit of the unit is a direct function of atmospheric pressure and the area of the piston (F=PA).
Assuming an equal ambient pressure, larger diameter units will have force limits higher than smaller diameter units; the limits being directly proportional to their piston areas. (Model force limits are summarized in the specifications section.)
In the push damping (compression) direction, air must be compressed into an ever decreasing space; the force can rise to a level which is higher than is possible in the pull damping direction. Therefore, it is possible for a smaller diameter push damping unit to achieve greater resisting forces than a larger diameter pull damping unit. However, stroke lost to compression should be taken into consideration

GMT air springs provide for a low-frequency elstic set-up of machinery, aggregates, conveyors, vibration generators and high-speed presses thanks to their vibration insulation, shock absorption and structurborne noise insulation.
Technical data:
- natural frequency, depending on load about 3-5 Hz
- assembly by way of scews connection at the part on
bearings
- levelling by way of compressed air +/- 10mm of installed
height through a standard tire valve

|
The NV150 air-springs are the pneumatic isolators for the cplusw damping tables and are inserted into their base frame.
But as an OEM-product the NV150 can be used in many ways. Because of an upper stopper of the piston the design offers a maximum safety against an accidentally compression overload.
A permanent supply of compressed air is necessary for operation as well as a compression or rather a height controller for setting up the working height in between the levelling range of +/- 4mm The resonance frequency is about 1,7 Hz in horizontal directions and in vertical direction under 2,5 Hz.
CplusW offers support for system integration into customer products or special applications. Sets composed of three, four or even more NV150 air-springs will be delivered with the necessary number of height controllers HR2.
NV150 systems do not need any special maintanance after the initial setup.
|
|
NV 50 is an isolator for integration into platforms with attachment options on one side wall or at the bottom. The is fixed with the centrical load rod. In consequence of the prismatic basic shape these isolators can be integrated in substructures of vibration-sensitive instruments and are ideal to use as OEM-elements.
If an installation in the inside of the instrument is not possible the dampers can be masked with an optional available blind made of polished stainless steel. The NV 50 hold brilliant isolation features in the lower frequency range despite the low contruction volume of about one liter.
The resonance frequency lies horizontal under 2 Hz and vertical at 2 Hz. The levelling range is +/- 3mm and can be set up with the height controllers HR2. A permanent supply of compressed-air is necessary.

|
NV800 air springs are ideal for supporting high sensitive experiments, machines and equipment.
These isolators can be used in a wide range of load because of their unique design.
The characteristic attributes remain in narrow limits and do not underlie a strong load dependence like comparable products do. Consequently the NV800 are ideal for storing equipment with asymmetric load distribution. In addition the broad load range serves for future upgrades which is common in scientific equipment.
The use of an extreme thin membrane makes the NV800 behave almost like an ideal air spring in the vertical direction. The resonance frequency is about 1,5 Hz. In case of horizontal disturbances an inverse pendulum which is installed inside the chamber offers excellent isolation features with a resonance frequency as low as 1,3 Hz.
NV800 air-springs are inherently safe and designed for lowmaintenance. Integrated limit stops prevent any overload condition. After having installed it once no more adjustments are necessary.
A complete set contains three or rather four NV800 air-springs as well as the needed number of height controllers HR2. In the normal case not more than three height controllers HR2 are needed for additional NV800 isolators.

The Fabreeka® Precision-Aire PLM series pneumatic/elastomeric isolation mounts are low frequency vibration and shock isolators which provide both attenuation of disturbing vibration and equipment leveling.
For vibration control applications, the pneumatic portion of these mounts provides isolation of vibration occurring at frequencies above 5.0 Hz.
For shock or impact applications, the outer elastomeric wall construction provides a high deflection shock mount. A low natural frequency (3.0 Hz) can be maintained by utilizing an external spacer to prevent "bottom out" condition.
Some features and benefits of PLM mounts:
PLM isolation mounts will continue to isolate with no pressure having a vertical natural frequency of approximately 10.0 Hz
The vertical to horizontal natural frequency ratio is approximately 1:1 with a degree of horizontal stability
1/8 NPT female fitting molded into sidewall allows for tank valve or pneumatic fitting
Viscous damping option provides increase in damping for large dynamic inputs.

Optical Isolators provide lasers with immunity from back-reflection, thereby improving the signal to noise ratio for laser diode based transmitters. This is especially important for high data rate transceivers and transponders, or those devices requiring long span lengths between transceiver pairs. All of our isolators are based on dichroic polarizing glass and Faraday rotating crystals for highest performance. These devices are available in a single stage, 1.5 stages, or double stages, with multiple stages providing progressively higher isolation.
LightPath offers isolators in various form factors including: Cylindrical, Surface-Mount, and Sub-Mount. In addition, we manufacture isolators with either an epoxy-free optical path or with a laminated core. The primary benefits of our approach to manufacturing include reduced costs as a result of higher yields, throughput and product consistency as a result of automation. LightPath is capable of delivering a total solution to its OEM customers, from prototype and development contracting through high-volume production.

High level of acoustical and thermal insulation, Willnotec AB H is built up out of the highest quality of materials and is CE qualified (hydrophobic and oleophobic foam). Due to its combination of heavy layer and opencell foam, we created a lightweight product that performs both sound absorption and insulation. Thickness of foam as well as heavy layer can be tuned in order to achieve the defined target . The reinforced aluminium covering is water and oil resistant, and easy to clean. Other coverings like nonwoven vlies are also available that improves acoustic absorption at medium and high frequencies. Final product is easy to cut and the standard version is delivered with an adhesive layer (+ A2) but can also be easily fixed with glue or pins.
