SBC-GX533 ICE
The SBC-GX533 ICE (industrial compact enclosure) is optimised for the SBC-GX533 embedded PC single board computer. The enclosure consists of an aluminium chassis, a 60W AC or 25W 10 - 36V DC power supply cable looms and an optional 2.5" hard drive and integrated safe-shutdown (UPS) module (24V input only. Offering sufficient space to stack two PC/104 expansion modules onto the SBC-GX533 single board computer and provide cable connections from the enclosure. Ethernet-based visualization
The "VisuNet" visualization platform from Pepperl+Fuchs, based on transfer via Ethernet, now enables significantly simpler and more flexible data transfer over greater distances by means of network technology.
It is available both as a remote solution and as a panel PC. The VisuNet RM Remote Monitor solution comprises in the core an LCD monitor with a network interface. The distance between monitor, keyboard and also the mouse in the Ex area, on the one hand, and the host PC in the safe area on the other, can be up to 70 meters. Via LWL the data transfer range can be increased up to two kilometers. The data transfer from the host PC to the display and also from the keyboard, the mouse and other peripheral equipment, such as a barcode reading device or RFID reader to the PC takes place completely digitally. The "Remote Desktop Protocol" (RDP) is used as the protocol for the data transfer from and to the monitor. Thus a Microsoft protocol is used, which is an integral part of the Microsoft operating systems Windows Vista, Windows XP Professional and Windows 2003 Server.
With VisuNet PC, on the other hand, there is a panel PC with a monitor, keyboard and mouse.
VisuNet is approved in accordance with ATEX, Categories II 2G (Zone 1 Gas) and II 2D (Zone 21 Dust) and is also available in a non-Ex version. The appropriate IEC approval will be available shortly.
