A Box Cooler is a cooling system which finds growing application both for inland and sea going ships.
The unique characteristic of box cooling
Cooling water is forced through a U-tube-bundle, which is placed in a sea-chest having inlet- and outlet-grids. The cooling effect is reached by natural circulation of the outboard water in the sea-chest or by a circulation due to the speed of the vessel. The outboard water is heated and rises by its lower density, thus causing a natural upward circulation

Special coolers have been developed for coolant fluids (emulsion and cutting oil).

CASTALIA, the condensing absorption chiller with power modulation, (Systema S.p.A. patent-pending), for the production of cooling and hot water, can be used as a heating system in winter and as a cooling system in summer.
The installation of this brand-new product guarantees important energy savings in comparison with the traditional separated systems such as boiler and electric chiller.
CASTALIA is composed by a highly efficient premixed gas burner with modulation combined with an exchanger: the NOX emissions are very low.
There is the possibility to choose the equipment between 8 different models, with a heating capacity from 12.9 kW to 139.2 kW and a thermic performance of 107.4%.
The available cooling capacity range is 12.5 kW - 115 kW with a cooling performance of 103% that can reach 130% if we consider the energy recovery for the production of sanitary hot water.

We are glad to inform you that Systema S.p.A. has introduced in its range of products the "RENEWABLE ENERGY PACKAGE".
This complete product is an Absorption refrigerator-thermic System created for the external installation.
Its power supplyies can be:
- gas;
- hot water produced by solar concentrators and collectors;
- fume-steam heat recovery systems;
- fumes and hot water of a cogenerator.
Thanks to a cogenerator, Renewable Energy Package, becomes a CCHP system (combined cooling, heating and power) for the production of hot water, cooling water and electricity.
This preassembled OR ENBLOC package is composed by an Absoprtion Chiller, a cooling tower, a cool and hot water storage, pumps, filters, mixing valves and a control panel for the management of the complete system.
Systema S.p.A. designs, produces and commissions the Renewable Energy Package in its industrial plants.
