Techweld™ Multi-Strike™ (Thoria-Free) Tungstens
Huntingdon Fusion Techniques Limited is proud to introduce the new recipe TIG welding electrode material. Used in the companies Multi-Strike™ tungstens, this material greatly enhances electrode life, multiplies the number of strikes per tungsten and does not contain any radioactive material. It can be used on aluminium and its alloys as well as steels.
No Radioactive Elements
Unlike tungsten-thoria, Multi-Strike™ tungstens contain no radioactive element. Where Health & Safety authorities or others are concerned about the radioactive or carcinogenic effects of thoria, Multi-Strike™ tungsten electrodes are a high quality alternative.
The Multi-Strike Tungsten (MST) electrode has been developed with the health and safety of the end user in mind!
Bringing you a:
* Non-Thoriated * Non-Radioactive * Non-Carcinogenic
Special Packaging Guarantees Quality
Multi-Strike ™ tungstens always originate from the identical source, giving the user a guarantee of product quality, reliability, repeatability, consistency and traceability.
Each pack of 10 is supplied in special packaging which is your guarantee every time of quality and traceability.
The MST has a SPECIAL BLEND of dopants to allow the Tungsten to perform at high, low and medium current ranges on both DC TIG (GTAW) welding suitable for Steels and alloys as well as AC TIG (GTAW) welding of Aluminium and its alloys.
This SPECIAL BLEND of dopants greatly enhances electrode life multiplying the number of strikes per tungsten.

At 360 grammes, its our Super lightweight champ
Welders have asked for two things in personal protection: lighter weight and more comfort.
Our challenges in designing an all new shield were to significantly reduce its weight, while maintaining the performance and protection that welders worldwide have come to expect in every Speedglas product.
The Speedglas SL Welding shield has been awarded with several prestigious awards for its user centric design: 2008 Gold Award IDEA, iF Product Design Award 2008 and RedDot Design Award 2007 to name a few.

Our line of products is entirely researched and designed to meet the requirements of prevailing standards, your comfort and aesthetic appeal.
Active welding filters provide continuous protection against UV/IR emissions, heat, sparks and projectiles. The degree of protection provided by the filter is designed to avoid blinding by the electric arc.
When an electric arc is activated, active welding filters darken automatically. When the arc is extinguished, they go back to their initial transparent state. Thus, active welding filters free up both of the welder’s hands, which saves time, helps avoid fatigue and ensures much better quality, because the arc can be positioned more accurately.

The helmet Optrel e680 - based on the previous model Optrel Satellite - has been designed specially for welders with varying job requirements and a need for an extensive range of individual adjustment options.
The features include protective levels from DIN 5 to DIN 13 and various additional options that provide the welder with absolute freedom and unrestricted comfort.
The enlarged field of view (+ 33%) and true color filter allows the welder a brilliant, detailed view of the welding object.

Welding requires complete concentration. This is no problem with the Optrel e670 - the successor model of the Optrel Orion: the unique sensor technology allows the welding cartridge to automatically select the protection level and constantly adapt it to the welding application using the intensity of the arc during the welding process.
The user can select “Auto” or “Manual”. In the “Manual” setting, the user can select the protection level that is best for him. He can adjust the shade setting as required to ensure the most comfortable shade level at all times.
If the welder selects “Auto”, the helmet automatically adapts the protection level to the current arc intensity. He can also use the fine adjustment to adjust the automatically selected protection plus or minus one shade level to satisfy his individual needs without the fear of any problem of eye damage. The enlarged field of view (+ 33%) and true color filter allows the welder a brilliant, detailed view of the welding object.
|
|
Standard functions in a top quality helmet.
Thanks to the extremely high quality filter and the use of the Expert helmet shell, the welder benefits from excellent optics, shade selection plus comfort and protection advantages.
The welder can select the protection level according to his requirements using the slide switch on the rear of the cartridge. It can be set to either DIN 10 or DIN 11. The detection angle for ambient light can be selected using the sensor bar.

In the field of manual welding guns, ARO has mainly focused its research and development on the ergonomics, safety, power, reliability and economy criteria which are the 5 major components ensuring excellent productivity.
Homogeneous design and modularity are the basic building blocks of the C and X type range of welding guns allowing the choice of a wide range of cylinders, transformers and articulation joints. These welding guns are suitable for all welding applications including those comprising effective lengths greater than 1,000 mm.
Thanks to the association of a multi-stage cylinder (ARO patent) and a range of specific transformers, each welding gun can operate on all air networks (from 4 to 10 bars) and all types of electrical networks (from 220 V to 500 V, 50/60 Hz). The Ergoline range can also be equipped with medium frequency rectified current transformers to optimize the weight/power/energy consumption ratio.
