In the field of manual welding guns, ARO has mainly focused its research and development on the ergonomics, safety, power, reliability and economy criteria which are the 5 major components ensuring excellent productivity.
Homogeneous design and modularity are the basic building blocks of the C and X type range of welding guns allowing the choice of a wide range of cylinders, transformers and articulation joints. These welding guns are suitable for all welding applications including those comprising effective lengths greater than 1,000 mm.
Thanks to the association of a multi-stage cylinder (ARO patent) and a range of specific transformers, each welding gun can operate on all air networks (from 4 to 10 bars) and all types of electrical networks (from 220 V to 500 V, 50/60 Hz). The Ergoline range can also be equipped with medium frequency rectified current transformers to optimize the weight/power/energy consumption ratio.

The adhesive spray gun Maxi-ND-K is specially designed for processing dispersi¬on adhesives. All parts in contact with the material are made of stainless steel. Due to the low-pressure atomisation (system HVLP), a droplet ¬spectrum that facilitates optimum adhesions is generated. High application efficiency ensures good material exploitation. A large selection of nozzle sizes: 0.5/0.8/1.0/1.5/1.8/2.0/2.2/2.5 mm Ø is available. Owing to the shearing sensitivity of the spraying media, material transfer should occur without pulsation. For this reason, pressure tanks from WALTHER PILOT are the best solution. The tanks are available as standard in many sizes.

The DH12 Series Pneumatic Applicators are an excellent choice for use with water-based adhesives in a broad range of scenarios. Low voltage DC operation allows control without the need for proprietary pattern timers and the compact design makes for easy retrofit and installations. A miniature solenoid valve mounted directly to the applicator provides quick response times and positive flow control.installation.

NEW LIFE SERIES GUNS
They are characterised by a small size and a fast application. In both standard and high temperature execution, the NEW LIFE gun Series are available in different models (with one or more different distances and nozzles, with one or two solenoids), in order to meet any specific application requirements. Their standard configuration provides the New Life module (with seal cartridge system), and a self-cleaning zero-cavity nozzle for the best application. Moreover, the gun body is with a protective, non-stick coating on the gun body where is inserted the electric wiring for the best safety and the stainless steel glue filter which can be removed without disassembling the hose, ensuring the complete absence of impurities during gluing output, thus increasing the high reliability of Preo spray guns. The heating is produced by the most reliable electric elements and controlled by very accurate sensors. The wide range of models provides also the most demanding customer with the ideal solutions for each gluing problem.

Process Description
Plasma Spray is perhaps the most flexible of all of the thermal spray processes as it can develop sufficient energy to melt any material. Since it uses powder as the coating feedstock, the number of coating materials that can be used in the plasma spray process is almost unlimited. A high frequency arc is ignited between an anode (nozzle) and a cathode (electrode). Process gases (generally mixtures of argon, nitrogen, hydrogen and helium) flowing between them is ionized to become a plume of hot plasma gas with that exceed the surface of the sun of 6,600 °C to 16,600 °C (12,000 °F to 30,000 °F). When the coating material is injected into the gas plume, it is melted and propelled towards the target substrate.
Features of the Atmospheric Plasma Spray Process:
- Large choice of coating materials, including metals, alloys, ceramics, cermets, carbides and others.
- Coating systems are possible, using layers of different materials.
- Produces surfaces for a wide variety of applications, including resistance to many different types or wear and corrosion mechanisms, desirable thermal or electrical characteristics, and surface restoration and dimensional control.
- Excellent control of coating thickness and surface characteristics, such as porosity and hardness .
- No heat affected zone or component distortion.
- High deposition rate.
- High bond of the coating to the substrate.
- Coating of complex geometries.
- Easy masking of areas that should not be coated.
- Process can be fully automated.
- Coating of internal geometries possible

JEBG Series / High Power Electron Beam Sources are designed to uniformly deposit metal oxides onto wide plastic films or steel plates in a continuous feed such as in magnetic tape manufacture for high-density recording or in wrapping-film manufacture with an oxide barrier function. Electron beam sources are also used for depositing of MgO film on plasma display panels and for development of surface-treated steel plates. Electron beam sources are also used for the melting of high-melting-point materials and high-purity metals.
