The state-of-the-art welding process is based on the Contour Welding principle and generates the perfect appearance in terms of the welding quality. This launched process onto the welding technologies of plastics enables a welding method without any elaborate clamping device. Accordingly, the existing limitation on 2 dimensional welding process is eliminated. Consequently, the welding process can be extended to 3D-welding.
This latest LEISTER Welding Concept provides an alternative method of resolution, completely new aspects and more flexibility in design of the geometry as well while the conventional welding methods such as Ultrasonic Welding or Vibration Welding are limited to. In other words, the GLOBO - Welding opens new opportunities for high-quality and decorative automotive products such as headlights, taillights or even large parts for Textile and Packaging Industries.

The laser light curtains of L-LAS-TB Series offer various operating widths (measuring range 50 mm, 75 mm, or 100 mm) with a resolution of up to 1536 pixel (3072 subpixel).
An analog output (voltage output 0…+10V or a current output 4…20mA) informs about position and size of the object. Furthermore, a digital output is available that offers information about quality and position of the object. By means of an external teach button and a potentiometer at the sensor housing a norm value as well as a tolerance window can be set. The monitoring of the tolerance band is done by means of 4 LED at the sensor housing, as well.
The L-LAS-TB laser light curtain can be easily parameterised with the Windows® user interface L-LAS-TB-Scope.

Contamination indicator
Switching frequency: 4000 Hz
The retro-reflective light barrier combines transmitter and receiver in one housing. The light emitted by the transmitter is reflected by a reflector. The receiver evaluates the reflected light. The small size of the reflector is advantageous. In addition, it is easy to install being a passive element, thus not requiring connection.

General description:
The LS series of laser sensors provides stable sensing for all of your high-precision, long-range application needs. With 6 different sensing heads to choose from, wide beam (200mm), as well as tight beam spot (0.3mm) versions are available for use in a wide array or applications. FDA approved, class 1 and class 2 lasers are available. The coaxial retro-reflective long range sensing head provides sensing at up to 30-meter distances. With the LS series, SUNX has focused their design efforts on creating the most user-friendly laser sensor on the market. To achieve this, four main focal points were addressed:
- Easy Installation
- Easy Adjustment
- Easy Operation
- High Performance

Type 2 Safety Light Curtain
With the SF2B series of safety light curtains, SUNX has built off of the successful features of previous models to create an easily integrated, Type 2 solution, all within one of the smallest packages on the market.
The no dead zone design ensures that the light curtain can be placed on the inside frame of your machine, thus creating a more efficient integration, with less potential for damage to the unit from an external source.
The SF2B is available in two standard types:
- Hand Protection Type: Minimum sensing object size of 27mm(1.063") with a beam pitch of 20mm.
- Arm/Foot Protection Type: Minimum sensing object size of 47mm (1.850") with a beam pitch of 40mm.
All types are available in either NPN or PNP transistor output models.

Line through-beam sensors are applied where precise positioning is required or where the dimensions of an object have to be determined with high accuracy (e.g. diameter of a wire). The L-LAS-TB sensors (available in split shape or fork shape) offer various operating widths with a resolution of up to 1024 pixel (4098 subpixel).
An analog output (voltage output or current output) informs about position and size of the object. Furthermore, a digital output is available that offers information about quality and position of the object.
The laser through-beam sensor can be easily parameterised with the Windows® user interface L-LAS-TB-Scope.

Parallel laser light with homogeneous light distribution in round or rectangular cross-section is used for measuring, positioning, and detection of objects starting from a size of 0.01 mm.
Measuring principle: Partial covering of the laser beam leads to a voltage at the analog output that is proportional to the degree of covering.
The laser light beam that is emitted by a high-precision optical unit (aspherical surface made of glass) allows the detection of smallest objects (e.g. threads) even in case of a large transmitter/receiver distance (distances up to 100 m, depending on model and aperture). The use of high-precision apertures in the transmitters ensures optimum adaptation to the respective application. The aperture guarantees a homogeneous light distribution on the beam and a sharp beam limitation.
Apart from a large variety of standard apertures special apertures can also be realised.
The non-contacting measurement of fast-moving objects by means of analog laser light barriers of the A-LAS series now is further supported by the new A-LAS-CON1 control unit. Up to two A-LAS sensors can be connected to this control unit. The included A-LAS-CON1-Scope software allows a selection from several evaluation algorithms. Furthermore, an external signal for triggering also can be selected with the operating software, or one of the two analog light barriers functions as a trigger device, while the other laser sensor is used for measurement. This also makes it possible to measure larger objects while they are moving and, among others, allows the performing of measuring tasks such as the width of plug contacts, *gap-size* measurement of stamping parts, etc.
