-System features
The Laserex laser fume extractors can be connected to existing machinery using custom or standard extraction manifolds. The fume extractor can be linked to a line control circuit so that it starts and stops with the main machinery.
Failsafe controls can also be set to stop the line if extraction flow rate falls below a pre-set minimum or hazardous gases get through the system.
Unlike "vent to atmosphere" systems, the Purex system can be relocated with a production line quickly and efficiently with no pipework contamination issues. |

Laser triangulation sensors have proven an ideal technology for measuring thickness of products. Noncontact operation allows accurate measurement of soft, gummy, materials as well as product moving at high speed.
In a typical thickness measuring application, two triangulation sensors are used, one above the material and one below the material. Outputs of the two sensors are compared differentially to determine the material thickness. This approach provides accurate thickness data even if the material location moves up or down.
To measure variations in thickness across the width of a product, the sensors are mechanically scanned over the width of the material.
Moving product often has variation in surface texture, reflectivity or color, so sensor data must not be influenced by these changes. To insure that these variations do not influence sensor performance, LMI includes an automatic gain control feature in each sensor which automatically compensates for any surface changes.
For products that are soft or deformable from contact gaging, or which are abrasive and will wear contact probes, laser triangulation provides an ideal non-contact measurement solution. High frequency response provides detailed information about local thickness variations, even for fast moving product.
Our applications division works closely with System Integrators & Original Equipment Machine Suppliers to deliver the most effective solutions for their particular sensor vision needs. |

Sadef produces steel profiles on some 35 roll forming lines. We supply your custom made open profile or special tube, either in mill lengths or as finished components, light weight, assembly friendly and powder coated if required. After roll forming all sorts of fabrications can be carried out, turning your steel profiles into tailor made components ready for assembly.
Piercings and cut outs in the broadest sense: lasercutting of 3D-bent parts, drilling, punching with or without automatic feeding on mechanical of hydraulic presses. Endless possibilities for special holes. |

In comparison to other cutting methods, laser-beam cutting has numerous advantages. It is a thermal procedure used predominantly in the treatment of metals as it enables the maintenance of tight tolerances even with on-line cutting, it is also quick and cost effective. At Welser we ensure complex 3-dimensional processing with a 5-axis laser cutting machine. We can thereby process material grades up to 8mm with steel, 5mm with stainless steel and lengths of up to 7,000mm. The most common steels can be cut without burring, so that subsequent de-burring becomes unnecessary. With the laser cutting process, several machining steps can be carried out simultaneously, such as pre-punching, post-punching and de-burring.

The interchangeable tooling of the thousands of existing section shapes allows Sadef to supply a perfect section in the right material, (e.g. stainless steel, precoated steel, pregalvanised steel, etc.) as a ready for assembly component and in your chosen colour.
Sadef offers a comprehensive range of rollforming possibilities. With strip ranging from 20 and 1000 mm in width and between 0.4 and 8.00 mm in thickness, variations are almost unlimited.
With 35 lines we enjoy a solid reputation in terms of flexibility.

| As well as open sections, Welser produce welded tube profiles. The seam welding of tubes increases their strength during twisting or bending, in comparison to open pipe sections. There are two welding methods utilised: high-frequency welding and laser welding. Which method is used depends on various factors, such as material grade, shape of the section, position and requirements of the weld seam. Laser welding possibilities: longitudinal seam welding of special profile tubes, welding together of components of different material grades and strengths. Mobile CO2 laser rigs enable continuous laser welding as well as the capability to produce multi-chambered profiles on-line direct from the rolling machines. |
