This contributes to working efficiency and productivity. The winding accuracy can remarkably be increased, thanks to the high indexing accuracy.
The core holding method is applied from the upper position. So an easy simple tooling set can be performed. This is an excellent easy operation machine.

BHS-01-50 has a new type controller and pul-servo tension that can achieve perfect layer winding with high performance and stability.
Utilizing a rigid traverse guide performs stabilized winding. And the machine checks the tooling flange position caused by thermal expansion and adjusts it to keep consistent winding accuracy.
Comparing the winding speed at 2,000rpm with conventional BAS-01-30, the number of turns for BAS-01-50 will be 20T to 30T, and its productivity increases about twice as much as BAS-01-30. |

Model HIM-03 has been developed for inside slot stators winding with new technology `Hook Winding` which uses outward fingers to slide wires through stator slots instead of suppliers of nozzles passing in the slot. The `hook` finger tool with NC control also enables precision winding.

No nozzle space is required in the slots. It enhances slot-fill up to 70%.(ref.)Maximum Slot-fill Insert Winding 85% Hook Winding 70% Nozzle Winding 50%.
This is concentrated direct winding. Therefore, lower end turns can be achieved, and the motor itself can be smaller.
With forming tool, multi-wire winding is enabled at tight slot opening.

The KAI series coil winding machine has been developed for direct nozzle winding of inside slot stators for small motors.
With AC servo motors and Nittoku`s recently developed NSC60 machine controller, the KAI series can not only wind, but also perform terminal wrapping. A single machine can be set up for a variety of specifications. It features quick and easy specification change-over, a compact, simple mechanism, and 4-axis NC control.
Perfect layer winding is made possible by intermittent nozzle traverse. In addition, the nozzle stroke height can be changed with each layer, resulting in a tighter wind.
Nozzle tilt mechanism rotates the nozzle 90 degrees for termination. This plus the wire finishing unit allows the machine to handle multiple specifications.
The KAI series can be linked with our other machines via our free flow transfer system. Processes before or after winding, such as terminal insertion, soldering, testing and assembly, can be fully automated.

Features
Winding is executed by rotating the nested part on the S-axis, while X, Y, & Z-axis are controlled by the wire nozzle. Different specifications including stack height change, number of poles and number of turns can be altered via PC.
Layered winding is possible due to newly developed wire feed methods.
Nozzle position and wire feeding can be changed throughout every layer of the winding process. This reduces slack, therefore creating better winding condition.
Winding time is reduced as a result of wire feed method. This is possible through intermittent nozzle feed and changing nozzle position throughout the winding process.
Precise positioning of the bridge wire from pole to pole is possible due to the AC servomotor.
