Penguin Wirewinder Model: PBW1200
PBW1200 is a precision parallel winder designed to ensure highest quality in winding bobbins for use in braiding machines. The standard machine is provided with twelve stations with conventional mechanical brake type let-off. The machine uses a traversing beak mechanism with compensator rather than the conventional traversing bobbin design. The band of wire is wrapped around the precision godet wheel. This ensures uniform wire lengths and yields catenary test results which are consistent and surpass than its conventional machines.
The traversing beak and compensator are operated by precision lead screws. The entire traverse mechanism is enclosed. Almost instant reversals of the carriage is made possible by the servo traverse assembly and driven by servo motor. The pitch can be precisely adjusted and maintained by this arrangement. The unevenness of winding near the flanges is completely eliminated due to this digitally controlled traverse. The operator can adjust the traverse and reversal points on-the-fly through push buttons. Smooth winding and precision stopping at set points are possible through digital drives to the spindle and microprocessor based length counter.

Winders
RODOLFO COMERIO winders are installed in the calendering lines or at the end of converting and trimming lines of any type of material, and guarantee the utmost adjustement precision with perfect operation. They can reach speeds up to 300 m/min, bobbins up to 1500 mm diameter and widths of 4500 mm. Some of the models can then wind the upper side of the film either inside or outside of the bobbin and finally, with intermediate multiple cuts, up to 3 bobbins on the same axis. The automatic cut of the film is available both as "guillotine" version, and as "knife" version. The maximum tension accuracy on the sheet to be wound at high speed is guaranteed by a computerized system for shafts drive motor control. Different types of shafts can be installed on RODOLFO COMERIO winders, suitable for any type of material to be wound.

TOM-0150H is the new generation motor winding machine. It is capable of direct multi-wire concentrated winding instead of single large wire (over 1.5 mm diameter). A high slot fill is possible due to untwisting the wire during the winding cycle. The newly developed process can achieve higher motor output without changing the stator outer diameter.
