SATELNODE X8SR is the basic VHF receiver of the SATEL local area transfer system. Together with SATELCODE alarm transmitter from SATEL, it provides the easiest way of setting up a wireless alarm transfer system.
The SATELNODE X8SR comprises of a high quality radio receiver with excellent selectivity and stability.
It is capable of processing coded messages from SATELCODE transmitter.
The SATELNODE X8SR is also equipped with an RS-232 interface, which provides a flexible means of programming the radio modem with a PC, to meet the varying needs of applications.
By means of the SATELCODE / SATELNODE alarm transfer equipment, SATEL has drastically lowered the threshold of setting up a local alarm transfer system.
SATELCODE is a versatile VHF radio transmitter from SATEL's extensive selection of radio modems. Together with its counterpart, the SATELNODE receiver, it provides the easiest way of setting up a wireless alarm transfer connection between two points.
The SATELCODE transmits a message that includes both address and alarm information. The number of possible different messages amounts several tens of thousands.
The configuration of a SATELCODE / SATELNODE system is straightforward and the installation quick and easy. The user benefits from minimum time spent in planning and materialization fo an alarm system. The radio modems are extremely reliable. The operation costs of the alarm transfer system are low, as there are practically no network charges.

With the help of the included software package, the modules will be configured easily over the COMinterface.

RemoteCom contains built-in features for alarm handling (SMS, E-mail, SNMP), data logging and web-based data access. RemoteCom has a powerful embedded webserver for visualization of the device data that can be accessed from any standard web browser. The user can easily and securely access devices from anywhere at anytime.
In addition to the visualization and diagnostic functions, RemoteCom provides the ability to remotely control devices. RemoteCom enables authorized users to select and modify device parameters such as, target values or operation mode.
The network configuration of RemoteCom is easy and made via the inbuilt webserver. The webserver is also used to setup the serial Modbus connection to the industrial device or machinery. The Intelligent Transmitter pairs with the iT Alarm, a DIN-rail mountable alarm with three programmable relays for use in vibration monitoring systems or process control systems. The iT401 Alarm, which compares the 4-20 mA input from the transmitter against user-defined high or low setpoints, triggers the relays and/or provides an alert when the input deviates from acceptable levels. The front panel controls and digital LED readout make this unit very user friendly.
