Zlinx Wireless I/O, point-to-point/multi-point
How to select the right wireless system for your Modbus point-to-point/multi-point applications
Simplify your installation by sending your digital and analog inputs and outputs over the air. Why run a wire when you can install a Zlinx wireless module to replace it? The new Zlinx wireless product line provides point-to-point or multi-point communication, replacing your wires.
With bi-directional flow control, the controllers allow full-duplex transmissions to optimize the communiation efficiency. Modbus Mode - Up to 150 base modules in a system. Up to 6 systems can run simultaneously by using difference RF network I/O.
Connects directly to analog, digital and temperature inputs and outputs
Point to point/multi-point wire replecement
Expandable, modular design
Modbus compatible

The TempTrackr™ Multipoint System provides a batteryless, non-invasive and low cost temperature measurement solution that is ideally suited for applications ranging from High Power Switches to Rotating Machine Components. The Starter Kit is designed to showcase the capabilities of the TempTrackr™ Multipoint System. Each Kit includes three batteryless wireless temperature sensors that are capable of reading temperatures between 0°C and 120°C. The three sensors provide the ability to monitor temperature at multiple points of interest. The Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) resonator within each sensor is powered by bursts of electromagnetic radiation emitted by a wireless reader (also known as a wireless interrogation unit). A feedback signal, conditioned by the temperature to which the resonator is exposed, is then electromagnetically transmitted to the wireless reader where it is processed for temperature measurement. The TempTrackr™ Multipoint System is capable of tracking up to six sensors and can provide temperature data via the CAN communication protocol. The number of sensors can be extended to 12 by making use of multiple interrogation antennae. The Starter Kit is an ideal technology evaluation tool3. SenGenuity will work closely with you to adapt the TempTrackr™ Multipoint System to meet the specific needs and requirements of your application.

Wireless Remote I/O - Cable Replacement
Banner introduced a new product line called SureCross Wireless I/O.
The DX70 is point to point architecture based on a pair of emitter/receiver. Digital or analogue I/Os are directly linked based on the internal terminal chamber identification. Unlimited pairs can work together in the same area without any interference.
The DX80 is a point to multipoint with up to 56 Nodes linked to one Gateway. The possible high number of I/Os can be transferred to supervision by communication with Modbus RTU (RS485), EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP. Some Nodes can be powered by 24 Vdc, battery box or solar panel with rechargeable battery. Special DX99 Nodes come with ATEX certification Zone 0 for gas.
The DataRadio DX80DR2M is used mainly for serial (RS232 or RS485) cable replacement. This can be configured with one master and numerous slaves.
SureCross products fit with many different types of Industries (Factory and Process Automation, Water Treatment...). The high performance, reliability and low cost of this product makes it a natural solution for renovation/revamping of existing installations.
Main features include:
Rugged industrial housing giving an IP67 rating
Reliable and secure data communication with FHSS
Accept up to 12 different analogue or digital signals on one module
Up to 56 Nodes per Gateway with extended address mode
Line of sight maximum distance of 3 Km between Node and Gateway
Built-in signal strength visualisation
Link loss output indicates communication status
Specific FlexSensors adapted for a longer lifetime when using a battery
Frequency band of 2,4 GHz and 900 MHz depending on country
