The work table is available in the steel version with universal T-shaped guides and standard vacuum system, or with special universal clamping modules, for an immediate work table setting.
- Safety and protection -

T4 (NEW)
The T4 was engineered for machining the largest size of aerospace structural parts.Carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) has been extensively applied to aerospace structural parts to reduce the weight of aircraft and improve their fuel economy. The use of titanium alloys has also been increasing recently because their coefficient of thermal expansion is compatible with that of CFRP. Machining productivity is extremely low for titanium alloys because their hard-to-cut nature limits the cutting speed owing to the relationship with tool wear. Makino has developed the T4 to improve machining productivity for these hard-to-cut materials. Typical machining applications for the T4 include edge frames and pylons.

CPS is a pallet changer series for machine-tools or for production lines. They are mechanical and completely self-governing. Cam driven CPS transforms the uniform input rotary motion into an ordered series of linear intermittent and rotary motions of the output shaft on which the pallet pick-up arm is keyed.
The synchronized movements performed by the pallet pick-up arm provide a typical pallet changing cycle: lifting, rotation, lowering. This cycle is controlled by one only cycle-end switch.

Haas APC – Automatic Pallet Changer
Increase productivity by running your Haas VF-3 or VF-4 unattended with our heavy-duty, automatic pallet changer. The Haas APC is a side-loading pallet changer featuring two 19" x 40" steel pallets. The heavy cast-iron base of the APC is secured directly to the VMC for stability, eliminating the need for further anchoring, and a three-point leveling system provides stability and prevents rocking.
The APC allows non-machining tasks, such as fixture setups and part changeovers, to be performed off-line on one pallet while parts are being machined on the other pallet

Pallet Changer
CPT Serie
The CPT series pallet changer, manufactured by CDS, is a mechanical system which, by means of cams, transforms continuous movement at infeed into a synchronised combination of rotation and lifting at outfeed.
Normal movement combination is:
- lifting
- 180° rotation
- down
with possibility of customisation on request.
The system is entirely mechanical and, thanks to the use of positive commands, controls the accelerations of the moving masses, providing:
- precision
- smooth running
- silent running
- vibration-free operation
The system also features a synchronous GLR torque limiter to protect the unit in case of an emergency.
The CPT series pallet changer can be used anywhere that large masses have to be moved, especially to back up manufacturing machines such as machine tools and presses.
The CPT can be used both in “push” mode, by positioning it underneath the mass to be moved, and in “pull” mode, by positioning it above the mass.

CPS PALLET CHANGER
The CPS pallet changer is a mechanical unit applied mainly on horizontal machining centres. The cam mechanism permits the transformation of an input rotary motion in a uniform sequence of intermittent movements of the output shaft, to which the pallet grip arm is splined.
The entire cycle composed of grip, rotation and laying of pallets is realized through a complete turn of the cam shaft.
The complete turn could take from 2.5 to 6 seconds, in accordance to the weight and the pallet entraxe.
Rotation angle of the arm for pallet gripping is usually 180°; it is also possible to project units with different angles (90°, 60°, 45°, 30°)

RTE ROTARY ELEVATOR
The Rte rotary elevator unit can be used in automations to slave manufacturing machines during pallets handling on automatic assembly lines or on machine tools as pallets changing.
It can be moved in two independent ways:
Indexed rotation carried out through a cam activated by a self-braking gear motor with a number of required stations varying from 2 to 48
Lifting carried out using a pneumatic cylinder having a maximum stroke equal to 50 mm.
The RTE unit is made up of a steel plate supporting a rotary table with a cam activated by a self – braking gear motor and controlled by a FCR micro switch.
Inside the rotary table there is a special pneumatic cylinder vertically moving an aluminum plate on which the needed equipment can be fixed.
The RTE rotary elevator unit is standard built with 2 main sizes:
RTE 06 P with a maximum capacity of 150 kg and compressed air pressure of 5 kg/cm²
RTE 06 P with a maximum capacity of 300 kg and compressed air pressure of 5 kg/cm²

OK-VISE rotary columns are made of aluminium and they come with steel made corner clamps. They work as a trunion unit between indexer and a tail support. This new system makes efficient use of machinable area a reality, ultimately leading to savings in tool changes, less operator interventions and extended cycle times.
