Welding and grinding operations are one of the most important noise sources in industrial working environments. Prolonged exposure to high noise concentrations can damage ear drums and cause noise-related deafness. Besides personal suffering, this often means long term absences through illness or high costs as a result of permanent disability. In less serious cases, too much noise is often the cause of loss of concentration and consequently loss of quality and lower production volumes.
Too much noise also seriously disturbs communication on the shop floor which leads to mistakes. Studies have shown that noise pollution in training rooms leads to gaps in knowledge and even to educational errors.
The government has established maximum permissible noise level standards. The maximum noise level to which employees are exposed on the shop floor should be limited to the legal maximum noise level.

FlexiGuard Plastic & Sheet metal
Axelent’s plastic and sheet metal system also belongs to the FlexiGuard group. The system can be combined with MasterGuard, FlexiGuard and FlexiStore. The plastic and sheet metal system is easy to assemble and you can use the same posts and door packages as for our other mesh wall products. The versatility of our systems means that you can combine plastic, sheet metal and mesh according to your particular requirements. To avoid gaps between the different sections, we recommend that you use our specially adapted sheet metal strip.
The plastic and sheet metal system is available in two heights: 1100 and 2200 mm, as well as in four standard widths. The system is heat-resistant up to 60 degrees centigrade. If you would like coloured plastic to protect against, e.g. weld flash, we can of course supply this. Our coloured plastic complies with fire standard UL94 V0 and also EN 1598. Similarly to our other products, the plastic and sheet metal sections are delivered carefully wrapped on special pallets directly from our stores in Hillerstorp, Sweden.

MasterGuard
MasterGuard is an accident prevention mesh wall that is in a class of its own in terms of quality, safety and design. The entire system has been designed to create as safe a workplace as possible, even in the toughest environments. The basic element is a closely spaced mesh where we, in the latest version, have further increased safety by reducing the holes in the mesh to cc 51 x 21 mm. The required safety distance is 120 mm, which facilitates assembly in close proximity to moving parts, something that also saves expensive production areas.
MasterGuard is available in height 2200 mm and can be combined with all our other accident prevention systems, even with plastic and sheet metal walls. MasterGuard is available in several different standard sizes and is delivered wrapped on special pallets directly from our stores in Hillerstorp, Sweden.

EasyGuard+
EasyGuard+ is the right choice when you are looking for a cost effective system that is easy to assemble.
This system is compatible with Axelent’s other guarding and storage ranges. The standard doors for EasyGuard+ are sliding door with maximum width 1400 and 2900 mm, hinge door and double hinge door. These can be used with X-Lock or Snap lock. Remaining FlexiGuard doors can be used together with EasyGuard+. In these cases you have to use 50x50 mm posts at the sides of the door, together with FlexiGuard door section (20x30 mm frame).
EasyGuard+ offers easier assembly of the foot, compared to other systems. When assembling, three different posts can be used (300, 1200 or 2300 mm), these will be mounted behind the panels. You can achieve a cheaper solution by mixing high and low posts. It is not recommended only to use the low posts (300 mm).

With a mesh aperture of cc 51 x 31 mm, FlexiGuard not only provides very safe shielding, but also means that you can reduce the safety distance to moving parts to as little as 200 mm, thereby saving space. The FlexiGuard panels are available in three heights (1300, 1900 and 2200 mm) and numerous widths.
We also offer a cutting package so you can ensure that your mesh walls suit precisely your particular needs, both horizontally and vertically. And if you require special plastic or sheet metal panels we have these as well.

If you require a special solution, then we can also offer a cutting service to tailor your industrial or storeroom mesh walls to fit precise horizontal or vertical dimensions. You can also combine FlexiStore with any of our door packages. If you want a special colour adapted to other fittings, we can of course arrange this. However, in this case, the same delivery time as for our standard colours is not applicable.
