Nickel brazing pastes are used to braze stainless steel in furnace with protective atmosphere and they are mainly used by EGR coolers producers. Copper pastes are used to braze any kind of steel, especially towel radiators. Copper-phosphorous pastes are used to braze copper heat exchangers. Also silver brazing alloys pastes are available.

Italbras BrazeTec manufactures brazing alloy wires on spools or coils. All silver brazing alloys containing or not containing cadmium, AgCup alloys, CuPalloys and Aluminum-silicon alloys are available. Wire diameters are from 4mm to 0,20 mm. Spool weight is from 15/10 Kgs to 200 grams. Wire may sometimes be cored by brazing flux.

Of all brazing processes, the most variables are presented when brazing in atmosphere or vacuum. Among these are the type of base and filler metal used, type of atmosphere, dew point, temperature, and even furnace construction. Most furnace brazing pastes are supplied without flux, consisting only of atomized filler metal and a neutral binder.
Fusion offers a full line of controlled atmosphere brazing pastes for various base metals and filler metals. The filler metals include copper and copper based alloys, including copper/phosphorous based systems, silver brazing alloys, and aluminum based filler metals.

The FOUNDRY-MASTER UV is a compact emission spectrometer for process-control and the chemical analysis of metals. The original universal-concept used in the FOUNDRY-MASTER UV allows a previously unknown analytical flexibility.
The compact bench-top instrument, can determined nearly all elements in all metals. Steel and cast iron can be as precisely and quickly analysed as i.e. Al, Cu, Ni, Ti, Co, Pb, Sn, Zn, Mg. etc. The compact design does not require laboratory type conditions. This allows operation close to the production line.
