8" x 12" Modular Vacuum Chucks are a Versatile Vacuum Chuck System. Use for Vacuum Workholding, Fixturing and Clamping. Shown Above: Two 8" x 12" Modular Vacuum Chucks connected to create a vacuum chuck workspace size of 8" wide x 24" long. The vacuum is created using one Air Venturi Vacuum Pump which is connected to an air compressor. A Gasket Sheet is in use with the vacuum chuck appearing on the left, which assists with the vacuum seal. A Gasket Cord is used with the Vacuum Chuck on the right to seal the vacuum chuck air to hold down the workpieces while the vacuum chuck is in use. Adjustable Work Stops and Edge Clamps assist to consistently locate the workpieces. Use One 8" x 12" Vacuum Chuck or Connect 2, 3, 4 or More Vacuum Chucks to Quickly Create the Size and Layout Vacuum Workholding Space Required. Four preconfigured Kits are available with one, two, three or four Modular Vacuum Chucks. Use a Single 8" x 12" Vacuum Chuck, or connect two, three, four, or more Vacuum Chucks and create a custom size and layout vacuum workspace quickly and easily. Numbered locations on the face of each Vacuum Chuck allow for quick and repeatable set up and workpiece placement. Only one Vacuum Pump is required when connecting multiple Vacuum Chucks together. Use an Air Venturi Vacuum Pump, or Portable Electric Vacuum Pump to provide the Vacuum. Quick set up and use eliminates the need to create custom fixtures and allows easy prototyping of workpieces. Quickly seal off the vacuum holding area by using Gasket Cord or Gasket Sheet. Replaceable Top Plates with various configurations are used to drill through workpieces while protecting the surface of the Vacuum Chucks.
