The miniature broadband active dipole receiving antenna CTS011 is a convenient alternative to a log-periodic antenna. It eliminates spatial errors introduced by large antenna and simplifies dealing with reflections and site attenuation.
CTS011 has a built-in equalizing pre-amplifier that makes its sensitivity at lower frequency ranges superior to larger passive antennas. Thanks to a built-in equalizing pre-amplifier the CTS011 has sensitivity comparable to a conventional log-periodic antenna. The interface module included with the antenna has a dedicated channel with over 20dB gain. This provides excellent sensitivity in a miniature size.
