Isn't it frustrating when you have to choose either a high precision or a large capacity for your balance because you can't have both? In such cases, the MC Series of mass comparators are useful because the balances display the weighing results with an extra decimal place not normally available with ordinary balances of the same capacities.

Some applications require management of minute weight changes while leaving large room for tare (e.g. containers). These include controlling the amounts of resist inks on flat panels, wear volumes of metallic materials, and fill rations of hydrogen gas, to name a few. If you have ever found it difficult to obtain a required precision in such weighing applications, the MC Series is certainly your balance of choice.
Of course, the MC Series, as mass comparators, are also ideal for management of standard masses - in the OIML class F1 or below. Four models are currently available, all equipped with an internal mass for balance calibration: the MC-1000 (1100 g × 0.0001 g), MC-6100 (6100 g × 0.001 g), MC-10K (10.1 kg × 0.001 g), and MC-30K (31 kg × 0.01 g).
How to prevent corner-load errors
A&D offers an "auto-centering pan" as a highly recommended accessory. For users who perform weighing manually, this special pan can bring a mass loaded away from the center of the balance automatically to the center to ensure higher accuracy.
