Insulation resistance tester

Application
The unit is measuring the insulation resistance of not grounded medium-voltage power stations. A special application is the monitoring of insulation resistance of induction furnaces or arc furnaces.
Special advantages:
- Separate installation of indicating and recording instruments is possible, due to the galvanic isolated DC current separated from the high voltage section (measuring signal).
- Low-resistance DC power source, therefore parasitic external voltages are largely eliminated.
- High resistance AC bleeder due to series reactor.
