A&N Bourdon gauges provide '30 to 30' (30" Hg vacuum to 30 psig) range of vacuum measurement and are available in multiple flange styles (NPT, ISO-QF, & CF). Vacuum measurement is accomplished by a mechanical process in which a copper tube changes position due to the force of atmospheric pressure acting upon it. The mechanical force moves the indicator needle and provides a visual reading of the presence of vacuum in the system. Because this is a mechanically induced reading, Bourdon gauges work reliably regardless of the type of gas present.
