Feeder protection relay ABB Oy Distribution Automation
The feeder protection relay REF 610 is part of the RE_ 610 series of numerical relays for the protection and supervision of utility substations, and industrial switchgear and equipment.
The protection relay REF 610 is primarily targeted at the protection of incoming and outgoing feeders in distribution substations. REF 610 is also used as back-up protection for motors, transformers and generators, in utility and industry applications.
The numerical feeder protection relays support a wide range of standard communication protocols, among them the IEC 61850,
IEC 60870-5-103, Modbus, Profibus and DNP.
